So this is the closest Popeyes to my house and it’s my favorite one! The staff is always courteous and friendly! I was there a few days ago and Tonia( I asked her name) was there. These people were basically screaming at her for nothing! She was very polite and never got out of character once! Tbh I was the one that spoke up! She just kept telling them in a very nice voice what it was! They almost became unruly. She did a great job maintaining herself, professionalism and just not engaging them negatively to continue on with their tirade! She remained professional the whole time even when someone deserved something else! I don’t know if it was me if I would have been able to keep calm. In any event, this is my favorite Popeyes! It’s hard to find good customer service anywhere nowadays so when you do see it you have to let it be known!!

Let me say this as a disclaimer: fried chicken is very unhealthy. However, when we want to indulge, Popeye’s has been our go-to place. Not all locations – the Smith Street location. I have been there maybe 20 times over the past 10 (?) years and have only received great service. I often call ahead, and the managers and staff have been gracious and accommodating. Yes, it may not be in the toniest of locations, and it may lack ambience, but whenever I’ve gone into the restaurant, I’ve been met with smiles and kindness. These days, that goes a long way. Just give these folks a chance. They work hard and do strive to get it right for you. Be patient and kind, and you’ll see!

Very good customer Service I feel bad for the managers and crew members. I’ve been looking at the reviews all day. When I was there today. There was a guy who cut the line for food and disrespected the lady at the counter when all she was trying to do is get mobile order in an out. As I was waiting for one. I knew this guy was gonna write a review as he said swearing in front of my daughter telling the manager very insulting names. The manager handled it very well and I appreciate her for that got my food in and out which I understand it takes time. The guy below me was mad he had to wait 10 seconds. Guys like him should be banned from reviewing because it’s not fair to others.

The tables were dirty. The female employee was on her phone 90% of the time. The floor had napkins n paper on the floor. I could hear the manager ask her to pick up the papers from the floor. She literally picked up 2 papers with her hands . She didn’t even sweep or wipe the tables down the whole time we were there. The bathroom didn’t work. They were closed off with tape. The employees looked like they didn’t even want to be there.

Waited 10 minutes for a four piece spicy dark combo. Politly asked how much longer (I get it, service industry sucks) the manager in the green shirt gave me a bunch of attitude and said six more minutes. Then allegedly both the men and women’s room bathrooms were out of service even though there were no signs… the overall environment was super dirty. Chicken was tasty, when I finally got it… Regular not spicy..

This location always has poor service from undercooked food to managers with severe attitude problems. I made an order online which was waiting for me at the counter but the manager refused to hand me my meal because she had to prep four other orders before she can take the 2 seconds it would have taken to give me my order. Once I told her to forget the order I’ll just get a refund she then proceeded to kick me out of the store while cussing at me in front of my daughter.

I have been going to this restaurant for a long time and I am with a youth organization and always bought from this restaurant for the kids, so I went there and paid 35 bucks for a meal and I opened it and that’s the chicken I was given. The side dishes was so small, I never had a problem there but I will never be going to that restaurant again.

Went to order some chicken and it took a little longer than expected. No problem! The staff are amazing, and we’re very intentive to my wait. Would highly recommend. The manager was awesome i believe her name was Tonya.
