Had the Chipped Pork sandwich, which is chipped pork, not dry, but wet on a bun. Brunswick stew was sweet and nice blend of ingredients. Sweet Tea was well made. Good place to stop for a quick bite under $8, in a laid back setting. Carroll’s Saugage is next door for some good country food shopping and meats.

Delicious food and huge servings. My partner got the chili dog and I got chipped pork with okra and corn nuggets. We ate it all and loved every bite.

My first visit was great. The food was amazing. I ordered the hamburger steak and it was real meat not a frozen patty under a heat lamp. There are not many good places to eat with truck parking anymore. Ponder is now my favorite place for a homelike meal.

My date got the ribs! They are one of thw best smoked ribs I’ve ate! He also got the baked beans which was amazing with some added meat in it, and fries.

Clean, fresh food, & fast. The owner came out and made every effort to make sure we were happy and all our needs were met. We will be going back.

Not very impressed with the food. The ribs were just microwaved and dry. The macaroni and cheese was in a small to go sauce container very small portion along with the Brunswick stew. The macaroni and cheese was super hot from the microwave and had no cheese in it, it was like buttered elbow noodles. The Brunswick stew was very tomatoy like a ketchup and was not microwaved all the way through and was not warm. The meal cost $9 and I would not recommend it at all.

My husband, son a friend and I ate lunch here on 12/27/19. We we not impressed with the food service or lack of items not on the menu. We were even less impressed by the fact that s fellow employee took the tip that was left for the waitress. I confronted him and he admitted to taking it and I insisted he give it back to the person for whom it was left. Come to find, wasn’t his 1st offense of sticky fingers. Needless to say we will not be back!!

Wow! Awesome chipped pork bbq sandwich which was the perfect blend of bbq sauce with a nice dose of vinegar, not to sweet, just perfection!!! The potato salad and yam fries were great sides. And sweet cashier to boot.

The place is nice and welcoming. The first time I went, the chicken was good…however, the second time, the grilled chicken tasted old and was dry. It seemed that the corn on the cob was old as well and smothered in tons of butter…the service was mehhh….it seemed that the server and manager were bored…not rude, just lazy. I won’t be going back.
