Back in 1982, the pizza industry was just starting to come into its own as a major dinner choice for the average family. It was in that year college friends Tim and Mark along with their friend Dan, first opened its doors of Pompeii’s Pizza in downtown Reed City, Michigan. After a very successful 3 year debut, Pompeii’s opened a second location in Baldwin. It soon became apparent that they had hit upon a very favorable recipe and restaurant style which lead to a third location to open in Scottville in 1989.

I think today was finally the last straw for me lol I have been a regular customer here for months. & everytime there’s something up. Pizza is never fully cooked I have to air Fry separate pieces before we eating it, they forget stuff like drinks or my sons food, if head an order be 3hrs late! Now today after not ordering for quite some time, this is what is delivered to me with my pop spilling everywhere as well. RUN to BC pizza instead. Like I cannot even stop myself from writing this review & Im not someone who leaves reviews!

It’s not quite a five star, but it is a 4.5 star. My son had a pizza roll. I had a piece of it. It was very good. Pizza was good. The cheeseburger was the size of my other son’s head…. Everyone was very pleased.

Ordered delivery a few days ago and they forgot toppings on my pizza, they gave me a credit for the mistake. When I reviewed the pizza that I ordered with the credit it barely had sauce on it and the crust was black…. usually I would say that I love Pompeiis pizza but I am extremely disappointed in the quality of food I have received in my last 2 orders.

3 large pizzas for around $50. Enough to feed a family of 6 with plenty of leftovers. All of the pizzas had plenty of meat and toppings although the Hawaiian could have used more pineapple. Good pizza for a decent price. We didn’t eat in but the building looked ok and the restrooms were clean.

So comparing RC to Evart, Evart always has my food done correctly and for some reason their chicken salad just tastes better. I live in Reed City a couple blocks away from the Pompeii’s here and I’ve driven to Evart to get Pompeii’s it’s a 24 mile round trip. But worth it

Stopped in for the first time today and was impressed that they had an all you can eat buffet, complete with a salad bar, pizza, chicken nuggets, stuffed peppers and more! Very reasonably priced and friendly staff. Love finding places like this when traveling, would definitely return next time when in the area.

Ordered pizza’s and they told me 30 minutes. We got them 1 hour and 15 minutes later. One pizza was cold and the other was just warm. They were below average and the service was terrible. Very disappointed. When we called to complain, the manager, Jennifer was disrespectful and hung up on us. We have never experienced service like this before. We will not be returning. Not recommended.
