The food here is the best Mexican food I’ve ever ate, the staff is very friendly and kind. One time, I forgot to get my meal, and when I came back, they remade it so it would be nice and fresh. The prices are reasonable, and there usually aren’t that many people. The restaurant also has a very cool Mexican theme to it, that adds on to it. Overall, one of my favorite restaurants ever, can’t reccomend it enough!

Wonderful discovery. I went to Carlsbad location on Friday and Oceanside location on Sunday. Crispy chicken tacos are very tasty. I’m happy to have tried.

Second time I’ve used them for catering a small party….excellent hands on service…lots of fresh food…ordered the taco bar for 12 people and chips snd guac…well packaged and labeled…highly recommend…helped to make my party a success and much less work for the hostess….

Its a decent spot with decent food. The prices are very, very good. You can actually get out of there, with a beverage for around $10. Not too bad nowadays.

Stays open later than the other restaurants here. Food is good and based on the ethnicity of the clientele, I would say it’s authentic. Horchata, Jamaica, and Tamarindo drinks available.

When I want to indulge in Mexican food that reminds me of my mom’s food, then this is my spot! I regularly order the chicken soup because it’s loaded with zucchini, carrots, potatoes, and thick pieces of soft, flavorful chicken. The broth of this soup is perfectly seasoned, and the portion of the small soup feeds me for two meals. I am immediately warmed by the staff’s smiles, and the delightful soup puts me right back at the dinner table in the home I grew up in. On my most recent trip, I decided to order the seasonal tamales, and yet again, this place took me back to Tamale making at my parents’ home. All day, we would prepare tamales, and for dinner, we would feast. The flavor of the masa was incredibly moist, and the chicken was marinated in a rich yet spicy red sauce that just melted me. I can’t wait to order these tamales again very soon! If you have a chance to visit this home away from home, I highly recommend you do and prepare to leave belly full and heart warm! This spot has some delicious chicken. Best salsa Verde I’ve ever had. Very clean establishment with fast friendly service. I’ve eaten here plenty and can’t recall ever being disappointed. Their chicken burrito is huge and they have one of the best tortas around. Very good deal for the price. I highly suggest you try it. They have a Carlsbad location as well and it’s just as good!
