For a food truck they ✔️ all the good boxes. Outside seating, it’s coveted and surrounded so your secure from all elements. The food was just spot on. I know demand is high at times so always allow yourself the best experience come before or after lunch or dinner high times.

We have been looking for a good cabeza taco and this is it! This will be our taco fix from now on. So tender and flavorful! And the owner is very personable!

If I could give this place 10 stars, then I would. The tacos are to die for, and so is the salsa verde lol I’ve had a few of the other menu items and I’ve enjoyed them, but I will always love the chorizo tacos. Service is really fast each time I’ve been (which is almost every week), and the people who run the truck are so kind and sweet. I once didn’t have cash (the card reader was down after a windstorm), and they gave me my food and said to just come back and pay, and told me they trust me. It was just really nice. They also have covered outdoor seating which is nice and the parking lot has been fixed, which is a plus! Eat here and you won’t regret it!

This is my favorite place for tacos in Tulsa. They serve flavor packed tacos along with the best salsa verde I’ve ever tried. My top 3 tacos would be the alambre (ham, bacon & cheese), cabeza (cheek meat) and pastor (marinated pork). The tacos will cost you $5 for 5 – cheaper than any other taco joint. Even though the tacos are good, their specialty here is the Pollos Al Carbon (chicken grilled over coal). I just tried it recently after many years of eating here and man, it was a revelation. Also if you feel like eating a big taco, try the Tacos Pirata (beef&cheese). I hope you enjoy this place!

There are a couple reasons I’d recommend stopping here. For one, Pollos Asados al Carbon is one of, if not the only, place in town serving a tamal Oaxaqueño, a tamale with mole and steamed in a banana leaf, rather than wrapped in a corn husk. The second reason is the specialty tacos they serve. The taco pirata and the gringa are greasy, quesadilla-sized tacos filled with delicious meat and cheese, a testament to excess for when you want to treat yourself. The pollo al carbon the truck is named for isn’t so much delicious as it is a crazy amount of food for cheap, but the two reasons listed are enough to keep me coming back.

Be very specific if you modify your food, great tacos quick, watch out for parking sadly that is their biggest and main downfall
