This place is adorable. The place has plenty of seating inside and is very comfy, the service was a bit slow as we had to get someone’s attention to help. The food came out fairly quick and everything was delicious and fresh. I loved the food and flavors. Would definitely come back to try other dishes.

One of the most authentic Mexican restaurants in Houston! We got the queso fundido, tacos al pastor, and churros for dessert. All excellent! Servers were very friendly and it was clean. Would definitely come back again!

This restaurant is raveworthy! The food is not only tasty; it is truly authentic. As a fellow Mexican; I am very proud and admired of Chef Diego. Thank You Chef Diego for representing our cultural culinary inheritance with such high skill.

It’s truly bizarre how many positive reviews this restaurant has because it’s so bad and always empty. We felt bad because they never have customers so we decided to try it. My party ordered several items and they were all cold and tasted shockingly bad. The beans and chicken were dry, and the tortillas were cold. We left without even eating half of what we ordered because the food was so bad. We also ordered lemonades to help beat the heat but it tasted like water with a drop of lemon. When I asked for some lemon or lime to fix the lemonade, I was provided with two extremely thin, tiny slices and was charged $2 for them! It wasn’t nearly enough to give the water enough flavor. You also have to go up to the counter to ask for everything such as silverware, tortillas, salsa, and lime. For this price point, it’s best to go to Flora, where you can get superb service, fresh ingredients in the delicious meals, amazing beverages, and hot tortillas made from scratch. For authentic breakfast and brunch, Cielito is the best in Houston. Don’t waste your money here, you’ll be heartbroken.

Nice little place if you want something different from the zillions of tex-mex restaurants around. I had the softshell crab tacos and they were delicious. Portion sizes are on the smaller size, so you may consider an appetizer.

Location is in the heights and I think that’s why the items are priced a little high . The food came out quick , flavors were great . The horchata latte was my favorite item on the menu .

It’s very bizarre how many positive reviews this restaurant has because it’s all around shockingly bad and the few hours its open, there is rarely anyone there. My party ordered several items and everything tasted old and dry. It tasted like poorly reheated leftovers. We also ordered lemonades to help beat the heat, but it tasted like water with a few drops of lemon. When I asked for some lemon or lime to fix the lemonade, I was provided with two extremely thin and tiny slices and was charged $2 for them! It still wasn’t enough to give the water enough flavor. For this price point, it’s best to go to Flora, Cielito, or Pico’s.

It is very casual, and the food is good. I had Enchiladas Suizas that were delicious. Other dishes ordered by our table were flautas, tacos, some wonderful guacamole, and a fish dish that looked excellent.

Not dissatisfied but not satisfied. The food wasn’t bad but it wasn’t amazing. The service was ok. The decor and coffee cups are very authentic but that’s about it. It’s good to have if you don’t know any better when it comes to authentic Mexican home cookin’.
