This place just seemed homey and somehow nostalgic. The owners (super sweet husband and wife) are a real pleasure, and their food is incredible. I usually don’t like fried foods (because they usually taste like the fryer they were made in) – Polanka’s fried zucchini sticks were the exception here, they’re amazing and you can just taste that they’re cleanly with their equipment. Loved everything and will absolutely come back and recommend.

We were visiting Rifle Gap and saw Polish food nearby. And after checking out the reviews, we said let’s give it a try. What we did not know is that this restaurant changed ownership recently and they now not only offer Polish food, but also Hibachi, Pho, and Ramen! We did not expect that at all. It’s pretty much 2 restaurants in one location. We had their Combo Meal from the Polanka menu. We thought it was pretty interesting, not so much our type of food. It’s our first time having Polish food so we don’t have anything to compare it with. However, we love Pho, and must say their Shrimp Pho was really good. Noodles were made al dente, cooked to perfection. Broth was really good too. And we were surprised by the generous amount of shrimp given. One suggestion I would give is to serve the shrimp already peeled. Next time we’re in town, we definitely will try their Ramen. Please note it is a small restaurant, I believe they have about 3 tables with 4 seatings each, not suitable for large parties if you’d like to dine in.

Exceptional East European cuisine, friendly atmosphere, excellent service! You’ll fall in love with the cabbage rolls and pirogues! Anytime of the day, alone or with friends, you’ll rediscover that unique taste of the food reminiscing your mom’s kitchen, way back into the happy childhood.

We ordered combo meals, which included 6 pierogis, kielbasa, sauerkraut, and a cabbage roll. The food was amazingly delicious! If we stayed here one more day, we would have definitely come back.

Amazing home made food!!! My husband and i got the combo each and shared the soup of the day. I dont know remember what the soup was called but it had beets in it. It tasted very fresh and not heavy. The main dishes was amazing! The combo had, 1 cabbage wrap, 1 polish sausage and 6 perogis. The flavor was amazing, the only thing that made me sad was my husband’s cabbage wrap didn’t have sauce on his like mine did. But it is still 5 stars worthy. Next time i want to try their blintezz? It’s some sore of crepe thing.

Order first, eat, and pay later. Try to come here when its not busy!!! We were in glenwood springs on vacation, and decided to eat here (we are also slavic, so we liked the idea of something fairly familiar). The inside is -very- small, but not cramped. We had the chicken sandwich, some perogies, and pasta. The sandwiches were delicious, the quality was good, it definitely tasted fresh. The perogies were good, but too oily for me, and the pasta was served plain, sprinkled with the herbs.
