Beware anything labeled “special.” I made the mistake of getting the grilled cheese sandwich “lunch special.” The price wasn’t listed, but I ordered it anyway because come on…it’s just a plain grilled cheese sandwich and it’s on “special”; how much could it be? Well, it must mean “specially expensive” because I ended up paying $13 for two slices of bread, a piece of cheese, a small side of something, and a water. Yikes. I liked the atmosphere, but geez. Really have to think hard about going back.

I really enjoyed the place.great food the live band was amazing.and I really felt safe with security there he was respectful and allowed ppl to enjoy their time but at the same his presence made me feel safe but not nervous.however as the night went on more ppl come and I felt 2 guards would be more appropriate due to the area which was a big area inside and out and due to the amount of ppl that showed.But I had a good experience

Pokeys is a great neighborhood type of bar. The only neighborhood type bar in Cleveland TN. (IMO). There is an expansive bar with seating in two locations, multiple big screens always playing sports, a section with pool tables, and nice outdoor seating area. The food is basically “bar food”, but it’s great, I recommend the Southern Egg rolls and the wings.

Great place, live music was lots of fun. Had the best blue Hawaiian drink. Definitely stop by for a good night out. They had security which makes you feel safe. Plenty of parking.

8:30 arrived on site parked walked in paid 16.00 cover charge for a band which we didn’t even get to hear sat down at bar ordered food and drinks having a private conversation waiting on our order food comes out unsatisfactory when buger was red raw inside set it back enjoying my companion comforted by security and not management told to leave if they give back 8 dollars cover yes they insisted on me paying for a raw burger to be able to leave so I did to end the convertation. We left called management miss Gracie she said it was policy for security to get up in your face and brutally ask you to leave and also security is not supposed to carry a gun which he had his hand on during convertation management told us to contact mr.pokey which they wouldn’t tell me who he was but he is Mr Steve Clark so Mr pokey feel free to contact me
