So I semi-like this place, it’s not the greatest but not the worse. The employees are always amazing, the fish and mixins are fresh, they have a good selection of sauces, but the rice for the bowl always sucks. The rice is never fluffy and soft, and always hard and chewy, I always think it might change but the the rice remains mediocre. Other than that, it hits the spot when you’re in the mall and don’t want to eat the other stuff in the food court.

This is my go to place for pokebowls and I usually always order the spicy ahi with both tuna and salmon. While most of the time the rice had a perfect fluffy texture, there were a few instances where it seemed slightly undercooked or lacked the desired softness. It wasn’t a deal-breaker, but it did affect the overall experience to some extent.

Tuna and salmon is fresh but my gosh the rice they use is so hard. Very poor quality it must be the cheap ones. I think it would’ve tasted good if not for the rice.

Finally found these in Tampa. I loved everything about these. I wish the one by USF already opened so whenever I’m by the area, I will get one. You can use their website to order ahead and just pick it up if you’re in a hurry. However, the staff is usually pretty quick. They have options you can choose from or you can even create your own. I love getting the ahí tuna whenever I can but all the options are really good. The only thing I try to avoid is spicy things as I’m not a big fan but if you’re into that, they have spicy options as well. The portion size is ideal for me, I like food that fills me and this definitely does. Food is fresh which is really important when eating seafood. I’m looking forward to going to the new location in the USF area.
