Poké is native Hawaiian cuisine, traditionally made up of diced fresh fish served as an appetizer or main course. Modern twists include chicken, tofu, shrimp or salmon with strong influences of Japanese and Korean cuisine. Think of it as deconstructed sushi with all your favorite proteins, mix-ins, toppings and crunches with your favorite sauces! A customized bowl, salad or wrap every time!

Great portions, wonderful customization and it was worth multiple trips during my time in New Haven! I enjoy that you can really customize your order even if you have drastically different tastes from your friends !!

I’m not from New Haven but my in laws are there. This will be my go to spot every time i visit. Already looking forward to next Sunday. I got the poke bowl with 3 proteins. He then asked me what else i wanted in it and then mixed it together. The taste was everything. I highly highly highly suggest you try this place. The employees were nice too.

This was my first time having a Poké bowl, and I was not disappointed! Pokémoto makes some amazing bowls with rich flavor, variety, all within a rather large bowl for not a large price tag! They have plenty of traditional options, as well as a vegan option, on top of building bowls from scratch, so there’s plenty of ways to get creative with your meal!

Boyfriend & I ordered sushi burritos through UberEats (that was probably mistake one), we received them DROWNED in spicy mayo. Not in a good way. Disgusting. Too much mayo- it wasnt edible or we’d get sick. We did check off spicy mayo when we ordered, but why you would think drowning everything in the sauce would be a good idea is beyond me. Never ordering here again. Cant believe we paid for this.

This place used to be pretty good, not amazing but pretty good, but they switched fish providers recently and the quality went way downhill. Personally won’t be coming back unless they get better fish again.

They charge me twice on my order. Been calling so I can get a refund on my order and they keep telling me it’s been done, which it has not. I have volunteer to drive there and show them that it has not and they keep telling me no.

This is a very casual atmosphere spot. Staff were nice but didn’t go above and beyond. The Hawaiian and Ginger chicken bowls were yummy!

I get it. It’s hip, it’s healthy, it’s trendy, and it’s the only poke place in town. Food was okay but nowhere near five stars. Rice was a little undercooked and the amount of dressing the server added for me didn’t give the bowl enough flavor. Miso soup was also quite mediocre, not much different from supermarket instant miso soup. Portion sizes are good. New Haven residents need to up the standards man.

This is always my go to!!!! It isn’t on Snackpass like pokelicious but honestly it’s like 1000x better so totally worth it. The staff is so friendly and everything is really fresh. One girl named Veronica (I think sorry if I spelled it wrong!) was SO nice and she definitely deserves some kind of promotion. 11/10 would recommend!! In the photo the toppings look squished but that’s only because I really went ham on the mango lol

Pricey, the food is decent, reminded me of Chipotle or Qdoba but no beans or tomatoes, tofu, cucumbers and dried toppings like crunchy onions (that gave me heartburn) or rice puffs instead, otherwise pretty much the same, just twice more expensive.
