I bought a medium poke bowl to take home for lunch. I asked for scallops as one of my proteins. They didn’t taste quite right but remember the liquid at the restaurant was a little milky. I am not a seafood expert but I should have took it as a sign something wasn’t right. Portions are small for the price and freshness is not their strong point. On the upside the servers are very nice but if you want great poke go to Ahi Poke and Roll in Santa Fe Springs or any Bay Poke.

Good clean place, and staff was very nice and helpful. The food was really good. However, something didn’t sit well in my stomach. It might have been the tuna. First time it ever made me sick so I’m not sure. Might give it another try.

You guys should only charge double when one gets a lot of toppings then asks for double of a certain item. Like if I only get crab salad and ask for double but that’s the only topping I’m really getting. It shouldn’t be a problem. Other than that amazing place, the girls seem shy but are really nice and have good customer service and when you send one to the back for special items they sound like they are reunited with old friends it’s a good time lol.

This place is pretty great. Fresh fish, good sauces and good toppings. When it was still Fins or Tails I gave this place 5 stars, as it was my favorite poke place around and was a quality experience every time. The workers carried over after it was bought out, so the awesome ladies behind the counter are still the same. However, I’m slightly disappointed with the changes to their menu.

Dad’s Garage Specialized
Fish was warm with brown edges and cornersmeans bad fish rice was over cooked, and soggy. The employees there were lazy and didn’t want to work no Enthusiasm. I can’t believe that they have a tip jar.

1st plenty of parking. You walk in and it’s very clean. The people are very nice and patient. The ingredients are very fresh and portions are generous in my opinion. It could get a little pricey but worth it. So, I had a great experience!!!

Expectations were exceeded! I am from Hawaii but have grown an appreciation for what I’d call “CA style” poke bowls. This is a great execution of that. Will def be coming back – I hope we have enough poke fans in the area to patronize this place 🙂
