This is heaven for anyone who loves the freedom you get of customizing your own dish at chipotle or subway, but loves sushi, poke, noodles, (or even sushi-burritos!). That’s not where the menu ends, they have a vibrant drink selection full of smoothies, and teas (including boba). All the ingredients were fresh, price was great, and portion size was perfect! This is 10/10 my new lunch spot! (Also to go packaging is super cute and great quality!)

Interesting idea and an obvious attraction for anyone who enjoys their food totally customized. The options are truly huge, there are nine proteins to choose from before you even get to veggies and sauces and toppings. The finished product was about average as far as sushi goes. The biggest gripe I had was the $1.50 upcharge for avocado, which is a pretty essential sushi ingredient that is featured in all of their promotional photos of sushi bowls. There is no extra charge for any other veggies such as mango ($1.50 each at Fred Meyer), so why the uncharge on an avocado that is .79 cents at Fred Meyer? The math equals gouging.

I’m a big poke fan and decided to branch out from my usual places. I got delivery from Poke makana and it was just okay. Things looked and seemed fresh, so that’s a positive. Though there was a variety of toppings and sauces, there just wasn’t a lot of flavor; it was mostly pickled radish flavor. I wish there was an option to do half salad and half rice, but maybe this is also an online order issue. The fish portions were extremely small, and I might have gotten 4 pieces of cucumber. It all just looked a bit sparse, especially the crispy onion, furikake, and seaweed strips. I don’t think I’ll be coming back due to the portion sizes and lack of flavors.

I love this place!!! The staff always seems so tired when I come in, its always the same few people. They must be working such long hours!! They make incredible bowls and all of their ingredients are delicious!! Its also very fast depending on when you go. I recommend going in between 2-4, that’s when its the slowest!

Bowl quality and quantity of food has gone down hill dramatically in the last couple months. This used to be my favorite place even though it was a little pricey but now it’s really not worth the price to get 4 small bites of protein in the bowl. It’s disappointing because Sherwood really needed a good place to eat.

A high-quality place that went downhill due to poor service and high prices. When I asked them for flavor recommendations for my tea, they said “I don’t care, I’m not the one drinking it, just pick one”. Then they took 40 minutes to make me and my friends tea and messed up our orders. No apology for the long wait (we are students on lunch break, so the long wait caused us to be late and get in trouble). I used to love going here, but after this bad experience I don’t want to return.

I love love Poke Makana, I have been coming here for over 3 years now I think. My mom also loves this place. The food is always fresh and they are always friendly as well. I wish they would bring back the masago, but I don’t think that’s their fault (supply issues I think). Their boba is always soft when I order it too. Definitely give this place a try !
