This was our first time back since the new owner (who is also head chef) took over. Let’s just say that our food was wonderful. We loved it all. However, id you’re looking for an overall 5-star experience, this is what we found a bit off:

They have a great, new outdoor pavilion with beer and snacks. That’s where we were. We started with a “who loves the sun” and then a “dog and pony show”. Both were your average light, summery beers. The “dog and pony show” allegedly had kiwi and grapefruit in it but not that I could taste. We had a chips and dip which appetizer was original Lay’s potato chips and some aioli dip.

The atmosphere is incredible! Ask about the history of the building. The food is killer. I had the miso shrimp Ramen bowl which was served in a gorgeous bowl. So good! Drinks were delicious. The service was knowledge and friendly. I highly recommend OP! A well thought out, creative menu makes this more than just dining, it is an experience. PS – cheesecake is the best I’ve ever had.

My pre-covid visit was good. Limited menu, tasty meals, very pricey, service a bit on the slow side. Recently learned that takeout is not an option until the fall. Place closes 700pm on Sundays.

First off, this place is quality over quantity. You’re not going to get a huge house app salad, but you’ll get a proper portion of appetizer and the salad is going to be incredible.

My husband and I were absolutely delighted with our experience at Poggio’s! The food was creative and delicious, the cocktails were wonderful and our server, Maddie, was a delight. Everything was very farm-to-table fresh and presented beautifully… I had a pasta special that was a perfect balance of flavors and textures; my husband had a seafood entree that was fresh flavored and colorful. We finished with a dessert baked by owner Sweets’ mom – it was amazing!

The food is to die for! All of the flavors are spot on so don’t let the menu intimidate you! I highly recommend the Kinda Like Mom Made #5, it is especially delicious as cold leftovers. And you should DEFINITELY sign up for the Cooking Classes with Sweets!

I think tonight would have been my over 10th time coming here. What i can say is I have never had a piece of food here I did not utterly love. The service is wonderful, between waitress”/waiters, hostess’, bartenders, or chef Sweets making a go around that night to check in. The atmosphere is something else. The food I can only speak good things. Tonight made its permanent mark having the Yabba Dabba Doo, I am overwhelmed. So delicious. Anyone waiting to go try a dish here, GO! You will not regret it. Will always be my go to

This was our first visit to Poggios and we were in the Taphouse section under the pavilion. Our plan was to enjoy a pizza and some craft beer. Unfortunately, you can not order pizza directly from the Taphouse area staff, but instead you need to go to the Poggios Kitchen building to order it under “to go” and bring it back to your Taphouse table. On a positive note the beer selection was decent and we enjoyed our choices.

The best dining experience I’ve had in the Lakes Region.
