I wanted to try something local and found this little gem as I just moved to PA. The food was very tasty and tender. However, the portion size was a little small. The atmosphere was beautiful. It’s definitely a great place to hang or chill with some friends. The music was great and I wouldn’t change what was playing. Our server Jay was fantastic. He really knew what he was talking about and even cooked the food in front of us. He was attentive and patient. Overall I had a great experience and definitely will be coming back but this time with a larger party

Had a good time here. Drinks were very cheap and the corn cheese and Korean chicken complimented the drinks very well. Would recommend for a chill night out.

Awesome food, great staff. Prices were very competitive. The last time I saw a Miller Lite for $3 was probably a college town 10 years ago. I highly recommend!

Where do you begin with this place? You wanted an authentic southern Korean restaurant and you’re getting it , food was amazing, service was incredible and the drink selection is insane. Would recommend to absolutely anyone!!

EDIT: after seeing countless reviews additional to mine, the continous bashing to its own customers is actually comical…calling them poor and saying don’t come back lmao. Clearly price is not an issue when I fine dine in NYC and DC on a frequent basis. The portions are actual pea-sized just like the owner’s brain who is responding to these reviews. I just want a local business to succeed as I’ve been in this area for 20+ years. The only one poor will be the owner when the business shuts down. So take that information as you will!

I was really hoping that this restaurant would be a legitimate and authentic Korean pocha that we could call our own here in Philly, especially considering that this is the old Korea Garden, (a place that my family and I had been going to all my life… so it’s very nostalgic and holds a place in my heart).
