We heard the BBQ and pie was good, but we didn’t expect to find such fantastical friendly and helpful service, too — so we went back again the same week to try the pizza. Same fantastical friendly and helpful service! Same awesome display of tasty pies! (With housemade whipped cream and a chocolate that is deeply committed to being chocolatey.) The dining area is also super easy to navigate with a wheelchair. My only concern was the amount of salt on the fries, so if you’re sodium sensitive, you may ask them to go easy on that. Also note that the original style, vinegar-based BBQ is the real deal — very vinegar forward.

The pizza here is one of my very favorite pizzas ever. The crust is so good and crispy on the edges. The toppings are top notch. The sauce is so flavorful. The wings are smokey and tender. The teriyaki wing sauce was sweet and sour and just right. Even the mozzarella sticks were better than most places offer. I just love Po’ Boys and can’t really say enough good things about them. I’ve also had several of the BBQ dishes on other visits and was always extremely satisfied. Eat here. You’ll like it.

We stopped in right before closing and ordered a pizza. Everyone was so accommodating and attentive even though it was so late. The pizza was AMAZING. they were sooo generous on toppings. AND it happened to be half off pizza day. So much food for cheap. I’ll definitely be going back.

I came in during a slow time in the afternoon. I talked to who I assume is the owner or manager, he was super nice and telling me about different specials they have on various days, we talked a little bit about the local craft beer scene. I told him it was my first time there and I ordered the barbecue sampler to go. The last thing he said was “We’ll be seeing you soon.” He’s not wrong, it was some of the best barbecue I’ve had in Champaign and will definitely be back. Of all things it was the sausage that stood out the most. Amazing flavor. I will be back!
