Very small place but good food. It’s being years this place had been open in Slidell. You can eat inside or to go. One of the best fry catfish I ever eat. Very friendly staff.

The Roast Beef PoBoy does not live up to New Orleans Roast Beef PoBoy standards. It appears to be thin-sliced deli roast beef that is soaked in a ‘gravy’ that tastes of canned beef stock or canned beef gravy. A New Orleans poboy is made from a roasted cut of meat that is then served in thick slices in its own gravy. This PoBoy was an absolute MESS to eat. I destroyed four paper towels and then used a knife and fork to eat the second half.

I ordered the eggplant side, it cost $13. It consisted of three long slices less than 1 inch thick for all three. Only good things was, it was thinly coated with the crust ..nicely crisp.

Expensive for what you get,ordered BBQ beef,the sauce was off flavor to me,kinda had a vinegar bite to it. Wife had regular roast beef,wasn’t thrilled. Cost $35 for 2 regular size poor boys.
