First time I ever tried Chinese food, it was Plum Tree way back in 1987 or so. Ate there again today, food is as good as ever, but the building is getting pretty run down. If ambience is way up on your list, hit the drive through. Or you may find it as charming and throwback as I did, so eat in!

Absolute worst asian food I have ever eaten. I took a couple bites and could not eat anymore. My wife is asian and have traveled through Asia. I am very familiar with asian cooking. Inside is beyond “rundown” as another reviewer described. It’s a place only Frank Llyod Wright would like. Water was coming down from the ceiling in the booth next to me. I am fairly sure that leaving the back door open is likely a health code violation. I paid my bill and just wanted to leave. Waitress said you didn’t eat anything. I said I know its bad. She asked if I wanted to speak to the manager/owner. I reluctantly agreed. Now if you are not a person of some measure, you may not want to attempt to discuss the food with the owner. Just saying this is not for the faint of heart. She asked if I wanted General Tso’s chicken instead. I told her no the chicken tasted bad and don’t want anything. She said well you paid. I said yeah I know I paid because I want to leave and not to argue with her.

We had a lovely late lunch here. We ha e been wanting to come here for a long time. It was so good. Had egg drop soup , spring roll. He had prawns and lobster sauce and I had four meat special. The flavors are bold and tasty. Service is friendly and prompt. We will come back here again soon.

Updated: March 29, 2019. The egg drop soup was great. Again the sauce on the sweet and sour chicken left something to be desired. Vegetables were not cooked at all. Only rice choices were fried and white steamed (I wanted brown rice). Egg roll was yummy. Staff was very attentive and glass was never empty. I think they may have changed ownership since the last time I ate here. Thai and Malaysian food is now on the menu.

Had a so so experience here. Met a friend for lunch and since neither of us had been here before we got a few different things to try. We got the crab rangoons, which came with 4 in the triangle shape (not a fan when they do them like this, I prefer the pouches, but this is just my preference), the filling is delicious though! It was savory with a good crab flavor and slightly sweet, the duck sauce on the table was ok, it was really watery and didn’t have much flavor.

Don’t be fooled by the sign on the door. Their dining room closes at 8, and the drive-thru closes at 9. The guy who greeted us when we came in did not seem to care whether he retained our business or not.
