This is my favorite place for Mexican food in the Cleveland area! The food and drinks are great and reasonably priced. The menu has several vegetarian options, and they are good about substituting black beans for refried beans, which have lard in them. The service is prompt and friendly. They stay on top of refilling drinks as needed and make sure everything is okay with the meal. Portion sizes are big! I usually end up taking enough food home for a second meal.

Appearances are everything. For starters, food was average for American Mexican food and some things on the menu were hit and miss. The chicken and steak was very well seasoned which is a positive. Otherwise Its Just ok, there is definitely better out there but is fine for a family get together.

I had the chorizo tacos and they were good, but $18 after tax and tip for three tacos and beans and rice seems a bit steep. The portion size was pretty large though. I wish they brought back their Taco Tuesday specials.

Wow, excellent food and service .This place is great I had a large burrito with chicken and shrimp. I also had a Mexican pizza with chicken, but I couldn’t finish it. Decor more on the plain side ,clean establishment . The prices are nice as well ,everything reasonably priced . The quantity is great ,not skimpy on the portions. Check em out right in Biddulph plaza.

Went to Plaza Nueva Mexican grill last night with friends. The place is extremely festive and they have the best food portions and very reasonable prices. I got the camarones (shrimp) with a side of their Parmesan cheese sauce and my husband got the molcajete. We also got the stuffed jalapeño appetizer and everything was just incredible. One of the better Mexican restaurants I’ve eaten at in a while. I’m already craving it and I’ll definitely be going back.

I love my experience at Plaza Nueva every time I come. We are always seated immediately and provided chips and salsa very quickly. The servers are kind and easy to talk to and placing my order is easy and quick. The wait for the food is never very long and the portions are very big and satisfying. I definitely recommend coming here when you are looking for a good, strong meal!
