Worked from home one day and chanced upon Playa Bowls in UberEats so gave it a shot and was pleasantly surprised by how delicious this bowl was! I believe it’s called the Power Bowl. Really tastes like ice cream without the icky feeling you get after eating ice cream. What a treat.. looking forward to my next bowl!

Cute little shop with refreshing drinks, smoothies and acai bowls. The ingredients are fresh and blended right in front of you. The inside is small but cozy with additional seating outside. Definitely recommend

This was the best acai bowl I’ve ever had. I only have bowlology where I live and it’s just not as good. If you order ahead it’s already melting. Here, when I got mine, I had it out for about 10-15 minutes and it was still frozen. It only started melting when I was on my last few bites. I got the Nutella acai bowl and added blueberries. The coconut tasted fresh along with the strawberries, bananas, and blueberries. The only con I have is the Nutella was basically frozen so it ended up towards the bottom of the bowl when it was done and it was just too much sugar for me. However next time I have one, I won’t be making the same mistake.

Exceptional experience. Everything is exquisite. The quality of products, the service, the prices, the variety of good well preserved ice cream, fruits, and the utensils, the availability of proper ventilation, the fridge having bottled beverages, and water. The staff hygiene, and knowledge you know with preparations, and cleanliness of visible kitchen. I liked it .Just nice space, if you are out on your breaks at work,or between classes if you have the time. The first time to visit and not the last. Playa Bowls . I absolutely love Playa Bowls but this particular location is sooo stingy with their toppings. The amount of fruit and granola is usually half that I get at other locations. The only reason I go here instead of other ones is because it’s closer to work, but otherwise the quality, quantity, and customer service is exceptionally better at the South Brunswick and Edison locations.

I love playa bowls and as a former employee (not at this location) this is by far the most unorganized and unprofessional store. As you walk in you are not acknowledged by anyone until they are done their own personal conversation. Usually I am waiting in the store just for someone to take my order for about 5 minutes. They talk about personal issues and store issues for everyone to hear while you wait. Also 9/10 times I have ordered online for pick up, they leave it out so it is melted by the time I get to it. Playa bowls is an amazing franchise and it’s disappointing to see them getting represented like this.
