Just ordered and was very upset with the taste of the playa bowl. I’ve gone to various playa bowls before and never had a problem. The nutella was hard, and chunky. Nutella in my bowl looked more like chocolate pieces. Also, they forgot to put coconut flakes in the bowl.

The cookman Ave location is by far my favorite. I’ve visited locations from NJ to MD and none of them have been as amazing as the cookman crew and the bowls are to die for, . I come everyday for a bowl. I am a customer forever!! And months later they are still the best!! Thank you cookman crew!!

I sincerely love this particular spot because they make fresh juices and their customer service is always on point. Never a long wait. In addition they have juicing for fasting and several times the owner has tweaked the juices to match my needs.

Love the decor this place has, it looks great and fits right in with down town Asbury. The bowl I got (Electric Mermaid) was delicious and all the ingredients were fresh. I got it without coconut flakes so I’m not sure how that would affect the taste of the bowl. I don’t think you can really get a bad bowl here. Just find one with fruits you like and you won’t be disappointed. They do however drizzle most bowls with honey, so if you’re looking for a less sweet and sugary bowl think about asking for no honey. But that honey really does taste great on the bowl and I didn’t find it too overwhelming or sugary.
