I went to the location in Atlantic City. The wait for the food was rediculas. We dined in and waited an hour for our food. Unfortunately, the side dishes were not good. The Mac & cheese had old bay seasoning in it and the Collard Greens had a ton of vinegar on them. I was sick that night into the morning hours. I cannot recommend this place to anyone. The best part of my meal was the wings and shrimp.

We visited here last night. And the menu selection was great. The owners were nice and funny. They gave us samples while our orders were being cooked. They will have a new location in Atlantic City next month. Please check them out. Great service, atmosphere and food. Thanks for making us feel welcome. We will definitely come back.

First time visit! Food is cooked to order, extremely fresh. The fried fish sandwich was outstanding, the chicken wings are cook perfectly!! Hubby said Fish & Chip were very good just wished there where two pieces instead of one. Son said chicken wing were good, wing size was good & Collar greens were delicious! Not a fan of the macaroni and cheese which happens to be my favorite dish. Gabe was awesome, the cooked was very Accommodating she obviously knows her way around the kitchen! Extremely clean.. Definitely a return trip.

The food was amazing. The batter for the fish wasnt just all batter there was actually fish and seasoned. The fact that the daughter was very personable and talked to us. The cook came out showed us our food and had conversations. This was a 5 out of 5 experience for me

I order from Platters at least twice a week. Food is really really good. I’m from North Carolina we add hot sauce to our collard greens, no hot sauce needed with these greens just the right amount of heat. True southern style cooking. I’ve pretty much had everything on the menu and highly recommend this restaurant. Chef Tanya is extremely friendly and eager to help. Good service is definitely hard to find these days. Plus this is the first takeout restaurant I’ve been to with kiosk and a app with a loyalty program. Keep up the good work Platters Team.

Went to Platters today. Saw some positive reviews and I wanted to give it a try. I was not disappointed! They have a nice menu with lots to choose from. I had already looked at the menu online and knew exactly what I wanted when I got to the restaurant to place an order to go. I was greeted by the friendly staff working the counter and was offered assistance. I placed my order via a kiosk/touch screen. It was easy to navigate and quick to use. I ordered the chicken wing platter which comes with 4 whole wings, two choices for sides and cornbread. I chose green beans and candied yams. The wings were big, crunchy and tasty. The sides were very good! Overall, I’m very happy I tried Platters. I will definitely return for more of the same and to try other items on the menu. I recommend Platters to everyone who’s looking for delicious, comfort soul food to give it a try!

So I heard about this place on fb and had to give it a try. Omg was I in heaven!!! I wish they sold more crab clusters, but omg the shrimp, clusters, Mac n cheese, greens French fries were all on point!! The flavor was finger licking good! I will be back for sure.
