The every dishes we ordered was great. Service was very attentive and caring, too, though a bottle of the sparkling water we ordered was kind of flat and we were surprised that they didn’t offer a replacement bottle or comp it. (I guess that particular brand of sparkling water must be less carbonated than the brand we were used to.) For desserts, we walked over to the glass showcases at the bakery side of the restaurant and picked what we want, and they brought them over to our table. We visited Wed night and pretty much the only customers inside, which tells you that this is a hidden gem in Glendale. I’d rather come here than over-priced restaurants in Americana because the parking alone is less crowded here. The patio seating looked nice if it was warmer night (There were heaters), but smokers were sitting there while we visited. Parking is available both sides of the restaurant for about $1/hour.

i had fetuchinne alfredo at this restaurant. wow. few pastas will go down in history like this one. the sauce was beyond most the ones I’ve had..I’d rank it in the top 3 of my pasta life. the portion is more than enough so everyone had leftovers except me. i was stuffed full though. for appetizer i tried the calamari and shrimp. texture was great and the sauce for the calamari was great! i also tried the crème brûlée for the first time and the tiramisu. it has a layer on top that gently breaks in mouth like when you have ice that hasn’t fully formed, which was super fun to eat. there’s outdoor seating with those nice little heater things that make being outside nice when you get cold easily. the waiter was polite, attentive and offering help throughout our visit. had a great dinner. overall great location, all the staff was welcoming, enjoyable place ps the parking is not free but it’s totally worth it.

Food I thought was good, not great. Had the tuna tartare appetizer; decent with an uninspired aoili. Grilled goat cheese salad had an overly sweet balsamic dressing with walnuts that could have been candied. Bought a small macaroon sandwich that was purple – so I thought plum or grape; nope I was told it was cherry. No flavor just overly sweet.

Everything was wonderful. Bacon wrapped dates were the best we’ve ever had. Out of this world fabulous! We also had the beet salad, salmon & desserts which were a blueberry tart & a chocolate cherry cake. Everything was so good! Coffee was great too. Service was superb.

Our waiter took our order and then disappeared, the quinoa was extremely bitter and the carrots were overcooked, we didn’t have any plateware and had to ask for it, they forgot our drinks, and nobody brought us the check when we were done.

After driving by Plate & Petal so many times and always admiring the gorgeous flower walls on the outside dining patio, I finally got the time to go for lunch and it was even better than I hoped. The seafood salad I ordered was so fresh and absolutely delicious. The decor, vibe and staff are all wonderful. I will definitely be returning to try the other dishes on the menu. Oh yes, it’s better to park in the parking lot beside the restaurant instead of on the street.

Great place, great food, unfortunately very bad service. Not a cheap place, with very cheap service. Everything on the table was missing, like salt, pepper, sugar, etc. If you didn’t specifly ask for it you wouldn’t get it. Even to get a coffee refill was like asking for the biggest favor. Water wasn’t brought out, we had to go inside and ask for it since we were forgotten about. Now on to the food….. The pasteries were delightful but the breakfast was awful. The pancakes were for sure reheated and were rubbery the bacon and sausage were also cold and rubbery. Beautiful place awful everything else.
