Dazzling Catalan-inspired nook in Old Town Spring. The scallops were exquisite. My Chilean wife chose the mussels en caldo. Its hard to get a Chilean’s attention with seafood but “Plane and Level” pulled it off. Take your time with the accompanying “glass bread” as you’ll want to savor every bite. The chimichurri is aged 6 months and ranks with the best we’ve tried and we’ve tried a lot.

My daughter took me to this wonderful place on a weekend and it exceeded my expectations. I was so relaxed and comfortable there. The waiter and waitresses have great customer service. The food was beautifully served and tasted great. Why couldn’t I have found this place sooner? Not only did they serve food but they also have a wine bar next door and a venue. The wine bar would be my next trip.

The tapas menu is inspired by the cuisine of Spain and offers a range of dishes that are expertly prepared. The duck breast and veggie puree dish was cooked to perfection and tasted like a high-end steak. The sashimi with croquettes was a delightful surprise and the beef empanadas with homemade chimichurri sauce were delicious. The cheese charcuterie board was the perfect way to end the meal. The recommended desserts were full of flavor and the light custard was decadent. The atmosphere was cozy and quaint with excellent servers who were knowledgeable about the menu and wine pairings.
