I had my first taste of Pizzeria Tasso at the Italian Festival a few years ago. I was beyond excited when they opened a physical location in Holladay. They operate as a food truck, so their hours in Holladay are limited. But the wait is worth it! The passion they pour into the quality of their pizza makes every bite worth it. Their crust is made from scratch, and if I’m not mistaken, they import both their flour and tomatoes from Italy. So many restaurants hide their lackluster crust with too many toppings. Not at Pizzeria Tasso, the simplicity of their wood fired margarita pizza is sublime. Don’t forget to start with a cheese bread and salad. If you have a sweet tooth, try the cannoli or a dessert pizza.

Pizzeria Tasso serves personal-sized Neapolitan pizzas. We had the Caprese salad skewers, pepperoni and Margherita pizzas, and a cinnamon roll and apple pie pizza. I preferred the apple pie pizza over the cinnamon roll, but the table was split on their preference. Everything we ate was pretty good and tasted fresh. The dough is the best part, which is important for a pizza place.

Hands down one of the best pizza spots in SLC. I could literally eat the crust by itself. You can tell they pay attention to getting all the best ingredients and it shows in the end product. The only downside is that they aren’t open every night but maybe that’s for the best or we would be here all the time!

They may be only open Friday Saturday and Monday for just a few hours but set aside the time and check out this place. The trickiest part is to actually find the restaurant which is behind the large buildings. So drive around and believe it or not it’s way behind. Prices are amazingly reasonable and the pizza coyme straight out of the oven from the truck behind the restaurant. Lots of friendly nice people who clearly love pizza.

Best pizza in salt lake. Follow them on instagram to find the specials! Small operation but super high quality. Margherita is spot on, and the pepperoni is a fan favorite. Get it with Mikes Hot honey and you won’t be disappointed!

We have made this a new date-night favorite. My husband is Italian and doesn’t like the American-style food of chain restaurants.Tasso is fresh and authentic. The atmosphere is friendly and clean with Italian music and no frills. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Best pizza in Holladay, for sure!

Trust me, get the margherita. I lived in Napoli for a year and this is better than many of the pizza places there. Beware of strange days open/closed. Can’t call in an order. Location is hard to find. I like to park at the walgreens and walk up the wooden stairs.

Absolutely love Pizzeria Tasso! We went there tonight and everything was so delicious. We had the cheese bread, special pizza, and Salsiccia pizza. The crust was perfectly chewy and crisp and the toppings were great. They also gave us free cannolis when we mentioned that it was our anniversary. The owners were very friendly. We look forward to coming again!

So stoked for pizza on pi day.. Who could beat that. The wood fire oven is outside and beautiful. The interior can seat a ton of folks and is super clean. The staff is so friendly and nice. Love this place cannot wait to bring the crew over to try all the pizza
