It may take a little longer than estimated but, it’s worth the few extra minutes. Pizza is good nice crust plenty of cheese and not extremely expensive. Unfortunately, my child didn’t care for it but don’t mind her she loves Little Caesar and Domino’s.

Normally, my ratings for this pizzeria would be higher, but not this time. I’d normally just order the XL cheese pizza, but this time I decided to get steak on one side and spinach on the other. Well let’s just say the steak was more like chewing pieces of fat and there was only a few pieces of spinach on the pizza. Considering what they charge for toppings, I’d expect toppings and not it to be topless.

The pizza was excellent and the employees took care to make sure that the pizza was correct. It is made in an actual fire oven and during the baking of my pizza a little bit of charcoal coding from the top of the oven fell into my pizza. When they took it out of the oven they noticed and immediately went ahead and remade my pizza right then so that I wouldn’t have that experience. This type of attention to detail and care will bring me back to this location many times in the future.

Our family tried a 16″ extra cheese tonight and we all agreed that it’s the best pizza we’ve had in Columbus. Almost perfect if you prefer hand tossed and baked on a stone. We’re from Boston, and haven’t cared for the Columbus style pies, even though they’re not horrible, just different. Pizzeria New York was a 4.5 as there’s always room to improve but graded a 5 so as not to lower their avg. ratings. Would like more sauce, as the extra cheese was awesome and generous, a lil’ more red sauce would have made it better. Definitely our new spot when we are having cheat day and eating carbs. Crust was nice too, dough in general had a good “chew” to it and high gluten content which is what one wants in the traditional “Brooklyn” or NY style. Cheese was also high quality mozzarella, nice buttery and hint of sweetness. Overall as good as it gets here in Columbus for pizza in our humble opinion.
