Pizzeria La Sorrentina Menu – Vancouver, WA

Type : Pizza restaurant

Location : Vancouver, WA

At Pizzeria La Sorrentina, I offer very authentic but modern pasta serving from Naples – Amalfi coast, high quality Neapolitan pizzas and traditional Neapolitan caffe. I cook pizza hand build acunto oven just outside Naples Italy shipped to Vancouver WA. I make my pizza dough myself using the best pizza dough flour you can get that imported in from mill in Naples Italy. Dough is italian style pre fermentation call biga proved for a minimum 24hrs but usually 48. The Small opening and low dome allow us to cook very hot (900°-950°F) and cook super fast (60-90sec per pizza) to allow for unique flavor and texture produced by the intense heat. Our Pizza is soft like pillow, wet in the center -at least, when a sauce is a present.

First time visiting with my family and we all had a good experience. Reservations probably a must for future visits. We sat outside and the picnic tables are not comfortable. Food wise we each got a pizza and we overall enjoyed it. I was hoping for a little more crunch and sauce / cheese was dripping off the pizza but folding seemed to help with that. Overall pretty good visit. I’d come back.

First time here with my family. We got the Focaccia Napoletana, Smoky Cotto, Pepperoni and kids pepperoni pizzas. They were all good, however I do think the larger ones could have been cooked a tad longer. We were seated outside right away. The staff was great and it was overall a nice time.

I’ve been trying to come here for a while but they’re always closed on my “cheat meal day”. Finally got in on a Saturday. Absolutely packed at 5pm. The atmosphere is fine. The service was perfect. They visited just enough, not too much. Now, the pizza. The style is Neapolitan, and they’ve done a great job with it. If you like Lovely Fifty Fifty but don’t feel like dropping $34 on a pie that “serves two”, well, Pizzeria La Sorrentina is the place. I walk in and see a few different bags of Caputo flour and I get excited. That stuff is the best of the best, and in the right hands will yield an incredible crust. Which is exactly what I had. Pictured is my diavolo. The toppings were not too heavy. The ingredients are of extraordinary quality. The price was completely within range of “reasonable”, which seems to be a fleeting concept at restaurants lately.

This is authentic Italian cuisine. So the pizza is not American style. It’s a 10 out of 10. All the pasta is very high quality. Their atmosphere is ok. Not bad but it’s not amazing although they do have a pretty nice patio which I just enjoyed on my last visit.

My husband and I were very excited to try this place because of the great reviews. We are on a super strict healthy eating way of life and today we were giving ourselves a break and going to eat some pasta! We left feeling a bit let down and sad that we used our cheat day here.

Haven’t had pizza like this in quite awhile and so thankful that I found this place. Had the classic Margherita pizza and everything about it was perfect. Going back to try the pasta!

This is by far the best Italian restaurant in Vancouver. I have been to Naples and the food at La Sorrentina reflects the culture, experience and tastes I had in Naples. You will NOT be disappointed. I have tried many different pizzas and pastas here but the Gnocchi is a classic that will always be my favorite. Tastes just like the one I had in Sorrento.
