We used to go to Rip Wraps all the time before most of disappeared. It was a good filling burrito that didn’t skimp on the grilled chicken. If I was blind folded today I wouldn’t have been able to tell you it had grilled chicken in it. The scoop the use to get the chicken holds a little over a table spoon. I remember the sign they used to have, “why get a foot of bread even you can get a pound of food?”. They used to have a $5 burrito with chips, this meal costs me over $13. No longer worth coming here, it was great while it lasted, but they got selfish.

I was pleasantly surprised visiting Rio wraps.todqy. my coworker insisted I give it a try and I was happy with my burrito. It has much better flavor than what I’d expect from chipotle and came with fresh chips and wonderfully refreshing salsa. All at a price that fit the quantity of food.

Growing up in Chicago, The Detroit area felt like a pizza wasteland, but then the skies cleared, angelic voices sang, and Pizza Papalis appeared. It’s as good as Giordinos in Chicago. So much in fact, It may be the exact same recipe. We are also fans of the thin crust with chicken and extra cheese. The service kind of sucked, but we have sadly come to expect that.

Food was just okay. Was expecting it to have the same good taste as the one in Greektown but it did not. We dined in, were the only people dining in, and the pizza was brought to us lukewarm. Not hot like it just came out of the oven. We waited about 35-45 minutes for our order and I’m thinking that the food was ready a little bit before that. Also…tomato slices were thicker than even on burgers. Maybe they were just having a bad day.

Ok pizza. They use good ingredients, but I’m just not a fan of this thin rust or the deep dish. I would eat it again, but it will not be the first to come To mind when ordering pizza. To me the crust was crispy and tasted like a totinos pizza crust. So much topping the dough was raw underneath. Even on just a small which is big enough for two possibly three.
