I ordered the Chicken Caesar Salad tonight and the lettuce was totally inedible as it seemed like I was biting down on sandy lettuce with every bite! It wasn’t just one piece but every single bite! I called the restaurant and told the girl that either the chef didn’t wash the sandy lettuce properly or possibly dropped it on the floor and all she had to say was, “I don’t know, I don’t even know.” She said she’d let the chef know and that was all! The quality of their food has gone downhill for a while now but we gave them another chance tonight and sadly, it was a big disappointment! This was the last straw… No more Pizza Village in Newark!

Idk what’s going on with this place, the food quality has gone down and the prices are going up. Ordered chicken parm and got more like flat breaded chicken. How is this chicken park??? The other day I ordered chicken marsala and I got dry flat thin breaded chicken YOU NEED TO FIRE YOUR CHEF ASAP!! I need to start ordering from Nino’s in Harrison.

To be fair it was about 30 minutes before closing but the pizza was terrible. Maybe if I had fresh pizza it would be better. Service was great and the staff was pretty cool. If I was in the area earlier in the day I might give them another shot.
