Good experience with this Pizza Ranch. Only placed a to-go order and picked it up in the drive-thru so I can’t comment on the atmosphere and cleanliness inside. Sat in line in the drive-thru for a while waiting to get to the window. The Tuscan Roma pizza was made very well! Lots of cheese! There seemed to be more toppings on this pizza compared to pizzas I have received from other locations.

My wife and I had lunch at the Mt Pleasant Iowa pizza ranch on 2/20/23. Their pink and raw chicken was not even close to fully cooked. Fortunately we checked it and dodged a case of food poisoning.

I can remember, when you could go out for Sunday dinner (any dinner for that matter), and get quality service, quality food, and employees that clean themselves let alone the tables, dishes, and floors. It’s noon here, kinda busy, nobody busing tables, and no place to sit. No matter, not enough food on the buffet to require finding a place to sit. Watched an elderly lady slip on the floor and do a “head/face plant” into the pizza bar. Took 45 minutes for ambulance to haul her out. Whole time a waitress (1) stood guard so nobody stepped on her. I hope the woman that fell, sues this place for ownership, and turns this restaurant into what it used to be.

We stopped here at lunchtime and expected there to be some food on the buffet, unfortunately there were only 3 different pizzas and those looked like they had sat out for hours. They did finally bring out some more as we were ending our meal, however the pizza did not taste as good as the Burlington location. Also there was a patron who fell on the floor and was left lying there for almost 45 minutes during our meal while some of the other patrons just stepped over her. What has society come too. Not sure why it took so long for any paramedics to arrive. But the staff did nothing to clear the area and help the injured guest keep some dignity. The whole place seemed to be business as usual while this poor lady lay on the floor next to the buffet.

Ordered a pizza when we got there. 45 minutes later we ask about it. Nobody came back and told us where the pizza was. 10 minutes later my husband went and ask again and they said they put it on the buffet. My husband got 2 pieces. When we went to get ice cream the machine wouldn’t put out any ice cream. Come to find out it was broken.

We went to pick up our order and nobody even acknowledged that we were there after we drove through twice. After sitting there for 10+ mins someone was finally able to help us. When we got our pizza it wasn’t even hot. Hopefully the next experience can be better.
