This was my first time having Pizza King in a couple years. I think possibly the style of sauce is an acquired taste. The pizza was very fresh….the dough was just a bit softer than I like, and again that might be just a signature part of Pizza King. There was however a LOT of grease. The box was quite shiny and reflective! We probably will not order from Pizza King for a while, but I do wish the owners at this establishment the best of luck in business!

First time ordering here. Called order in and the girl asked me if i wanted to pay with cash or credit. I asked can I pay when I get there and she said it’ll be ready in 15 minutes and literally hung up the phone.

I really do love this place. It hurt giving it only 4 stars. The food is 100% 10 stars imo. Being an Evansville Indiana native, I was beyond excited to find out there was a Pizza king up here. I order from these guys a lot, the staff is super cool. Polite and professional yet laid back about it. My only complaint is every time I order pizza, I order it “pie cut”, meaning triangles, and they have yet to ever cut it how I order. I will never complain to them or have them remake it because I worked in the industry for a long time and to be honest it’s not THAT big of a deal. It’s not like they are putting the wrong ingredients on it and it tastes the same..it just bums me out. I hate party cut pizza. Thank you for coming to my tedtalk

Pizza was horrible in every way! Ordered a large pepperoni. Crust was doughy, soggy and had grease puddled over about 1/2 of the pizza. Upon first opening the lid, my wife commented that pizza looked like hot wing sauce had been poured on it. That was simply the grease that was mixed in with the tomato sauce… Edges were edible, but roughly 1/2 of the large pizza was not edible. Total ripoff!

So glad the favorite pizza place of so many is back. The pizza is excellent. The downside is while they have a Franklin # the shop is in Whiteland and you forget about them. They do deliver but it can take a while. Nostalgia level is off the charts. I just wish they were closer. Best of Luck to them.. very nice owners.

Well I love pizza king. Very few places make it right anymore. I ordered a medium pizza with 3 toppings. Went to pick it up and she said 22$, I was what for a medium pizza. I then thought well it probably had a lot of toppings. WRONG! Hardly any, wasn’t to edge of crust, bare spots with maybe 1 mushroom, pepperoni and sausage was so sparse you could hardly see it. Highly disappointed! I won’t be going back there. I have decided that when they go under (and they will) I am going to buy it and sell real pizza king pizzas. I worked at one years ago so I know how to do it.

I am from muncie this pizza king tasted nothing like the one there.I bought the bbq pizza and pepperoni with bbq and pizza sauce. Spent $39.00 on pizza I assumed was going to taste like the pizza king I grew up with. Was terrible the sauce was SWEET. Crust not firm,seemed undercooked. Will not be back to this pizza king.Waste of $40.00 on pizza I couldn’t eat.Guess I should have read the reviews….

We’ve tried this place a couple times because we love pizza king pizza. Horrible service and the owner (at least one of the owners) is a real tyrant. Both times we could hear him yelling at the employees. The first time in person, this last time in the background on the phone. I’m all about supporting local business but I won’t give them one penny of my money again.
