I called to place an order. The man who answered didn’t say pizza joes or anything he just said hello. When I asked if this was pizza joes he said of course. Then I placed the order he didn’t ask if I wanted anything else, i said no. He gave no time frame, no total, no thank you have a good day he just hung up the second I said no thank you. Honestly I thought I was calling an older grumpy man’s personal home!

Ordered a meatball wedgie. What I received did not match the picture on the website. It was two pieces of pizza on top of each other. Last time I ordered pepperoni and cheese pizza and received no pepperoni.

I’ve been coming here for years. I would take the Sharon location over this one simply because of consistency and taste. It doesn’t look the cleanest establishment but they are actively making changes. I would recommend this place if you are looking for a veggie pizza then this is your place! Prices are definitely the second highest in the valley next to Scottos pizza. Unfortunately for pizza joes, they don’t hold a candle to Scottos…

We usually get our pizza and wings from Pizza Joes on State Street in New Castle. Always piping hot and good. At this place I’m not sure how when you order a pizza and wings they say 25 min. You stand around the store waiting for it and when you get the pizza is hard and barely warm and the wings, which needed cooked longer, are piping hot, but drowning in sauce. Not a good experience. The only reason we didn’t go to our regular Pizza Joes is it was Memorial Day and ours was closed. Never again. Yuck!

Ordered Chicken Bacon Ranch Pizza 9 cut square. Overcooked and was not that good. Either Not much ranch on it or was overcooked and dry. This Pizza Joes is always hit or miss. Stick to the one in Sharon if in Mercer County.

We had an ordered pizza through grub hub at 2, and we got an update that the pizza would be ready at 430.. then we called and talked to “Mary” and she said she did not receive our order and that she cant do this, can’t do that and repeatedly cut us off while we try to explain the situation. We then showed up, and “Mary” continued to cut us off as we talked to assistant manager April who was extremely helpful and said she would talk to the GM. After everything was done we received no compensation for all the bs that we went through and to top it off the pizzas were cold.

Reviewing strictly my one and only experience there. Not the food or place overall. The employee seemed to be very on edge and annoyed and gave attitude for no reason. The biggest reason for the 1 Star however is that my order was somehow miss placed and when I realized it on my way back I called and had a negative experience on the phone (more attitude and annoyance I’d imagine was the same person) and then had to comeback to the same worker giving me attitude while I waited for another 10mins for the rest of the original order! Hands down the worst experience I’ve had at a business in a while.

One of the most consistent pizza places in the area. There are definitely fancier places to spend your money, but if you are looking for a dependable, affordable, and widely liked pizza, this is your place. Do not let the fact that is located inside of a gas station sway you from trying this pizza.
