I just went up to the counter and waited for quite a while, expecting someone to come out from the back. Nobody did. I called out, no answer. I went to a cashier and asked if there was anyone working there. She went to talk to someone else and came back explaining that “she’s on her lunch break.” Ok, apparently they think it’s ok to not have anyone working the counter at all. 3 people in line, why didn’t they have someone there to cover her lunch? I asked “is someone coming to cover her lunch?” And she answered “he’s on his way” He came up, asked “has anyone helped you” to which we all said no and then he turns around and walks away. I’m thinking this is probably a supervisor or manager and someone’s coming. Waited even longer. Finally someone pokes her head around the corner, looks at us, and then leaves. No sign of anyone coming. I, and 1 of the other customers waiting in line, left. Very poor customer service. You ALWAYS have some there. I work retail and guess what, we always have somebody come up to the front to cover our breaks.
