I recently posted a review about the pizza hut in Shorewood IL. My review was 4-5 stars. But recently ordering on 8/11/23 they dropped the ball like every other restaurant. I ordered a large sausage pizza to be delivered which comes with a delivery fee. I waited 45mins to an hour which i received no pizza. I contacted store about said pizza and was met with “nonchalant verbal conversation”. They claimed that i was supposed to pick up my food when i specifically paid for delivery. I gave receipt no# plus credit card info# as proof of payment. The employee name was Kyle and pretty much debated with me about this food purchase/ delivery fee. Kyle then proceeded to be rude and said “if you dont agree with me you can just get a refund, no sweat off my back”. I was completely shocked on the service of this establishment!. Seems as if restaurant’s are rude, obnoxious, and completely unconcerned about the customer. Whatever happened to the customer is always right, especially when you are. So i guess I’ll have to put this Pizzahut location on a time out/ punishment . Maybe frozen pizza’s from Walmart or just make one from home is the way to go. If i could do no stars i would but this app won’t allow so 1 star it is.

I placed an order for five items. One was missing, which they were able to get the driver to come back and deliver…and another was wrong; a pizza that was supposed to have NO cheese and Extra pepperoni (for a severely lactose intolerant person) came with extra cheese and regular pepperoni. When I called about this, I was told they needed “proof” the pizza had cheese. I said I could send a photo and they responded “I don’t know ma’am.” I told them I would give the first pizza to the driver when they brought a replacement and I was put on hold without notice. They eventually came back and agreed to remake it. With how much they charge for these sub-par pizzas they should be glad my kids refuse to eat quality pizza. It’s the only reason I even order this trash. Here’s a photo for “proof there was cheese on the pizza.”

Pizza was terrible, cheese was burnt. Told them about it and the guys was rude on the phone about it. He said if it’s burnt we’ll send another. Not sorry about the inconvenience we will get that taken care of. Pizza hut used to be decent cheap pizza, not anymore. Just like the rest of the world no one cares about quality anymore

Customer service is horrible. The girl answering the phone was just dry and rude. She gave me the total and hung up. I had to call back to determine the time I should pick up the order. I get the the restaurant, and no one was at the register. It was about five workers in the back laughing, and using profanity. Why is this acceptable? I had to say, hello twice. Finally the girl (with the extremely long wings/eyelashes) came and looked as if I was disturbing her. I watched delivery drivers come from outside into the kitchen handling food. Where’s the manager and leadership. The workers think this is acceptable. Get it together.
