The man that runs this place is horrible. I ordered a pizza for 14.99 carry out according to their online menu. 25 minutes and it’s time to go pick it up. The man tried to upcharge me to 19.99 plus tax. I told him it’s not what it said on the website. He said that’s old prices. I only had $17 on me for the pizza. I walked out and got in my car for dominos and he rushed out to wave me inside, just to give me the price I asked for and a whole lot of threats including the “this is losing me money”. They literally have a promo on their window for a full price large pizza and get a medium cheese for free. At the end, he told me to never come back. Over 5 dollars. There’s a reason this place is in shambles. Let it die.

I ordered from Pizza House in Hallsville today and I was sadly disappointed on the outcome. I don’t understand the 4.5 rating, all of my meals were completely overcooked. The mariana sauce itself tasted like watered-down tomatoe paste. Everything else (Supreme Pizza, Cheese Sticks, Buffalo Wings, Mozzarella Sticks) tasted like it was cooked last week and sat under a heat lamp. I try to support local companies, and live right across the street, so I imagined it would be a great fit for us. They obviously have given up on the quality of there food and have lost our business.

I used to eat here regularly when I lived in Hallsville (moved away in 2012). I just picked up a pizza and nothing has changed. The owner, Freddy, is about the nicest guy you’ll ever meet and he is a true master of pizza. Every aspect of his pizza is delicious and I can’t wait to visit Hallsville again to get more Pizza House! Must try!

We’ve always enjoyed pizza house. It has never been super expensive to feed a family and everyone is always happy choosing to eat here. The pizza is different than most pizza places. Pizza House uses very little tomato sauce/marinara in place of a lot of cheese. The owning family has always been very nice as well.
