Like all other businesses they are short handed. However we had no delay or issues with service. Our server came up from Lancaster to help out and drives over 50+ miles to work here. We definitely appreciate and love their pizza. One of my old time favorites!

Decided to check the Pizza Cottage out today. Not very many people there. We ordered a medium 1/2 pepperoni/mushroom and 1/2 peppers/mushrooms. Also got a garlic cheese bread. The garlic cheese bread was pretty good, plenty of cheese on top. The star of it was the dipping sauce, had crushed tomatoes with a nice spice in it. The pizza was a little too thin for me, a good amount of cheese which could have been cooked just a little longer, good amount of mushrooms, the pepperoni they are using had very little flavor to it. It curled up like Ezzo’s but no taste. On to service which was totally lacking. Not a whole lot of people in the place but the servers were all out of site the majority of the time. Our server Justice went missing after delivering the check, another server went by us a number of times and finally asked where our server was. She finally tracked her down so we could pay our bill. Also be aware they have a supply chain surcharge they add to your bill.

We were in town from Canada and wanted to get a bite. I had chicken wings which being from the Buffalo area were pretty good. My daughter had spaghetti and she said it was good as well. Server Lele? was friendly.

We ordered a medium pizza and asked that it be boxed since we were traveling and wanted to have a couple of pieces then get back in the truck. Our waiter brought us the iced tea, water and the pizza in a box. No napkins, no silverware, no plate to eat it on. Our waiter seated a large table right after we were seated so he was busy. The pizza was good, cut into squares and was good warmed up the next day.

First time to visit a Pizza Cottage. Absolutely LOVED it!!! Bri was a great waitress!! Fries were crispy on outside, chewy on inside. Italian salad was crisp & fresh. I had the Hawaiian pizza, Hubby had the Ruthie’s steak sub & an All the Way pizza. Everything was amazing!!! Loved the sauce & the crust of the pizza! Obviously we brought home some leftovers. Can’t wait to go back to try some more things.

I have no idea who’s running this place but maybe they should show up and run it and train people. I won’t even begin to tell you in a review how horrible this place is. Let’s just say I’m sitting at home eating little Caesars after my visit to this joint. I will never ever step foot back in there and mark my words it won’t last. I heard about 15 people complain while I was there about the service and the quality of what they received. I have loved this company since the 80s from the originals buckeye lake and circleville. But clearly someone got lost because this isn’t the company that was started and run for last 30 plus years. Totally ashamed !!!!!
