Overview shows that this is a fine dining restaurant. It could’ve been a long time ago based on how many fine dining places were located in a predominantly farming community. With the rise of plethora of chain fast food franchises serving the students of Clemson U and the plentiful NBQ shacks, one would assume so until you enter the restaurant

Great service and great food! I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone in the Clemson area. The food never disappoints and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The prime rib was wonderful and the mashed potatoes were excellent.

An INCREDIBLE experience! My wife and I stopped in 45 mins before closing and were seated immediately. Out waiter (Will a Senior at Clemson) had about 5 tables, but he was consistently attentive and always had a smile on his face. He never once looked overwhelmed! The our meal came out quickly and was AMAZING!!! My wife had the filet with a port wine reduction and I had the beef medallions with blackened shrimp and crabcake. Both were delicious, but my wife’s meal simply INCREDIBLE!!!!! Truly a 5 Star experience and we’ll be regulars whenever we visit our daughter in Clemson!

We dine at Pixie & Bills every year we come to Lake Keowee. Such a great place to fine great fare and service. This time around I got the Spicy Shrimp over Angel Hair pasta (alternatively, you can get it over delicious slow-cooked grits). The bread they serve is a heavenly encounter.

The staff were kind and considerate. The food, however, was not worth the price. Nothing on my plate impressed me, and the steak was something you could buy at Texas Roadhouse. You’re paying for the atmosphere, not the meal. And even then, it was stuffy and I felt out of place. But it’s a nice place to try and wow someone with.

Pixie and Bill’s is always a top notch restaurant. It is also a solid choice in Clemson for fine dining. I have some new dietary needs that they accommodated seamlessly. Our waiter was nothing but friendly and helpful. I wish I could remember his name to add to the comment. They were a bit busy (and the hostess was nowhere to be found) upon arrival, but after a few minutes of waiting, the experience went without a glitch.

Salmon was amazing!! (we.both got it, but 2 different preparations.) Service was good but I felt as though the bartender (we sat at the bar) was more preoccupied with another party more than anyone else. Had to ask for the bread, when everyone else was served it automatically. Same with the wine. Otherwise, no complaints at all. Everyone was great overall and everything on our plate was amazing. They were cordial and polite at all times…..and the atmosphere was great.
