Oh my gosh… awesome people working there offered me a sample tray since I had never eaten there before ( unheard of ). My husband and I each got a 3 meat platter and I got double potato salad and my husband had coleslaw and beans… best EVER!!! I am totally in love with the potato salad and the meat and bbq sauce is out of this world good. I’m still eating on it the next day because they have such generous portions. ABSOLUTELY recommend PITTS BBQ!!!!

Met the owner myself, great guy. Amazing customer service. Like amazing, I will come back just to be treated so well, now let’s talk food, I hate potato salad, like with a passion, but I ate the whole cup of theirs, it tasted amazing!! Their baked beans were on point, not watery, tasted very very savory, highly Recommend those two sides, the smoked meat is so tender it’s not even funny, it fell apart in my hand while trying to dip it in their spicy bbq sauce, that is also amazing, I highly recommend this place, not only for their food, but customer service!

Wow. Excellent BBQ. We had the two meat combo and it was great. Tri-tip, burnt ends, brisket and smoked turkey. Great sides too. Super friendly staff. Definitely a return visit.

The people were super friendly. They gave us a sample of their cheesy corn side so that we could decide if we wanted that. Their tri-tip was amazing, and they had pictures of dogs all over the walls.

A Memphis cafeteria style. It was fine. I’d like to ask them about the burt ends. They don’t seem to sauce their meat very much if at all, which is fine. Still seems like a smoked pork chutney sandwich would fit in here quite well.

First timer, ordered the 3 meat combo togo. Burnt ends, links and pulled pork were all on point! Was greeted at the door. Definitely has a “family business” vibe. Love it.

We just found our new favorite place to get BBQ in the Springfield metro. We are BBQ snobs and Pitts met all our requirements. The BBQ is juicy and not overcooked. Everything we tried was amazing. Our favorites this trip were the Burnt Ends and Tri-Tip. The meat literally melts in your mouth. The sweet bbq sauce was delicious. The owner, Brian, was so welcoming and helpful. We will be back again.
