Pitfire Pizza in Manhattan Beach is a must-visit spot for pizza enthusiasts. Their pizzas, baked to perfection in a brick oven, are simply incredible. The crust is crispy on the outside and delightfully chewy on the inside, providing the ideal base for the flavorful toppings. Whether you prefer classic combinations or more unique flavor profiles, Pitfire Pizza has something to satisfy every craving. From the gooey cheese to the fresh ingredients, each bite is a burst of deliciousness that leaves you wanting more.

This was a pretty decent spot to grab some lunch. The food was good and the staff were all friendly.

I’m a celiac and noted that on the phone and in person and they’re incredibly accommodating. They have separate cutting boards, pizza cutters and pizza dishes. They put the pizza on a riser and then straight to the box to minimize any interaction with gluten.

Family friendly, fresh chopped salad and crispy pizza, wood fired with earthy sweet and spicy flavors. Kids were happy with spaghetti and giant meatballs and super cheesy baked Mac. Momma liked the Sangiovese wine!!!

I’ve heard so much good stuff about this place and decided to give it a try. My order took a long time, and when I finally got my pizza , it was cold. I have a feeling they forgot about my order because they were preoccupied with cleaning. You can see in the photo that the cheese is not melted because it has hardened from being left out too long. The staff were friendly but because my pizza was cold, I give it one star.

We were a party of four and our food came out in four different deliveries over a span of 15 minutes rather than coming out warm all together. The Mac n cheese was average. The potato pizza slices were burned and most needed to be removed.

Big feel, dining al fresco, great staff with excellent patience to newcomers. Salads are exquisite, vegan options, and the pizza pies have a traditional taste and feel. Good for solo dining, a night with friends for great beers on tap, and for lovers on a night of adventure. After dining enjoy walking downhill to the pier.

Best pizza in the South Bay. The sourdough dough is incredible. Their sauce is also incredibly light. Lots of other pizza places have too thick and sweet of a sauce from cooking it down, but this tastes super fresh and quality.

Pizza delivery took well over an hour last night. Plain cold upon delivery. This pizza lacked a good crust. The bottom was thin and soggy from sitting in the box for too long. Too much dough on the outside ring. Too much overpowering sweet basil and very sour in taste tomato sauce. I ordered Pepperoni but it was more like Basil Pizza. Probably better for dine in but not a good experience for delivery. The last pizza of the day is just as important as the first one. We probably placed one of the last orders.

It’s good pizza if you’re willing to wait. It takes about 50 min to an hour for one pizza to get ready. I had a three topping pizza which is not that difficult to produce in 30 minutes, but that’s never the case when ordering from Pitfire.
