Working from out of state. Staff was friendly. Pizza was okay… I definitely have had better wood fired pizza. Better crust and better sauce. Jalapeños aren’t fresh. Had the Nashville Hot and the Pitchfork. Pitchfork was better of the two.

The food was way better than I expected. I’m a pizza lover and this pizza was pretty good. It had just enough sauce and taste. The wings were good and reminded me of hooters taste.

Unique – in an area dominated by chain restaurants this was a refreshing stop for dinner. The pizza we chose is called “Frying in the Rain” which satisfied my protein craving. Since all the pizzas are 12” there was enough room for desert. The Apple Blossom is a good take on the old fashioned Apple pie and ice cream. All this with a rather attentive server named Logan made for a great experience.

The food was amazing. We have had the pizza and it was great. Mondays are half price burger night. They were good. And I had the smoky mountain breakdown bologna and it was great too. And the house made pickles! Plus they do a great job of distancing tables both inside and out if that matters to you right now.

I got the “Frying in the Rain”. The crust is first fried then toppings added then baked. The edges were nice and crispy, the center wasn’t strong enough to hold the weight of all the toppings however so I had to use a fork on most pieces. The standard toppings are Italian sausage, pepperoni, roasted cremini mushrooms, and a blend of provolone and mozzarella. I came right at 11 am, so it was empty. Country music playing and TVs with sports channels (on mute). They have a $10 lunch special, but I didn’t see it until after I ordered (mine was just $14, probably feeds two if you aren’t starved, or one with two slices left overs).

My wife and I ate at Pitchfork Pizza last weekend. Let me start by saying the pizzas and bread we ordered were all amazing, no issues there. What frustrated me though was the sign on the table that told me if I wanted help ordering I needed to pay an extra 20%. Seriously?!? What kind of place does this? What was even more interesting was that two servers kept coming to our table and asking us if we need any help with the menu, hint, hint “would you like us to take your order and pay us 20% to do it”. I could understand if they were short staffed but they definitely had plenty of help. On our bill this would have been an extra $12 on top of our food and our tip. I have no problem tipping, but asking me to pay for a basic service, that is a good way to loose customers. Pitchfork, you have a great place, amazing food, and only this one bad glaring problem. Drop this and don’t loose customers.

My family and I went to Pitchfork Pizza a couple weeks ago and we had a great time. We had great service and the food was fantastic. The pizza was delicious but the burger was crazy good for this being a pizza place. Also, the best fried pickles I’ve ever had. I’ll definitely go back.

I missed my flight out of Nashville and was pretty annoyed until I decided to take advantage of the time I had to kill and find a local eatery. I am SOOOOOOOOOO glad I landed at this one! I can’t “5 star” this enough. The service, the atmosphere, the cleanliness, the prices, the variety of well-innovated, freshly-bought, universally-palette pleasing menu options was off the chain! My only gripe is there isn’t a Pitchfork Pizza Parlor in my final destination of Ft Lauderdale, Fl. And Brittany is a rockstar server!!!!!!! THANK YOU BRITTANY

This is my first time here and my first Nashville foodie experience. With my husband being a GM of a restaurant chain I can be critical. HOWEVER, I have NEVER had wings BETTER than ANYWHERE than pitchfork pizza. I have a gluten allergy and the gluten free pizza was OUTTA THIS WORLD — the best I ever had. Great job to the owners and our friendly, accommodating server, Brittany.

Finally had a chance to check out Pitchfork. It was really, really great. From the folks who brought us Sea Salt (coming soon to Hendersonville ), Pitchfork offers Neapolitan pizzas as well as some very creative combos. They also serve salads, sandwiches, and a few other entrees but it’s a pizza place, so… You gotta get a pie! They also have a dozen or so draft beers, several can/bottle selections, wine, and a great cocktail menu. Service was fantastic as well. Definitely check this place out.
