Review Time With Tim
I liked the fried chicken. Also had some small butter breaded shrimp that was tasty. I also think I had some fried catfish. The food was good for a buffet. The price was very good. The server was very nice. The place is very big inside. The only thing that was a turn-off was the food scraps on the floor. But after watching staff try to clean it up, one realized they did not have the right equipment for the task.

This place has all the charm of an Army chow hall. All of their food was so bland. Hopefully, you enjoy pop country, because there’s plenty of that. Their interpretations of tartar sauce and cocktail sauce are wild, and they taste terrible. The meats offered at the carving station are dry. Really dry. Both the fried chicken and fried fish lacked seasoning. The salad bar was pretty basic and the dressings were thin and not very tasty. Apparently, it’s a popular place for 80+ year olds and people just looking for some cheap food that came off a Sysco truck. The buffet cost roughly $15. Service was average.

Heard lots of great things from friends and family about this place so I had to try it out. Was about 45 minutes out of the way from my home but happened to be passing through one day thought I’d stop. The best part of the whole place was the salad bar by far. Nothing I had was bad but that being said nothing I had was good either. Tried a bit of everything and was far from impressed. Decent price for the buffet style serving but if I go back I will definitely try the steaks next time.

Great food, the service was good. I visited during lunch. The food was fresh, and the staff continuously removed the empty dishes from the table. You have the option to choose from ordering from the menu or selecting the buffet. The buffet was clean and neat.

For close to 20 years I have loved this place But, the quality of food has gone down hill drastically, We have been consistent customers for years and love the staff the prime rib has been brown (extremely overcooked) and dry every night for at least the last 3 months including tonight and we are there about 3 times per week (regulars) but, with some other venues in the area we’re gonna start trying them out. I blame upper management even though I have complained regularly.

So it’s an all you can eat buffet so I went to get me prime rib and they asked how many slices I said give me 4 please they said you can only get 2 at a time I’m like whaaaatt so the peaces were as big as a small cookie and very thin I had to get up 4 times to get me some steak but if you are into cheap food I guess that’s the place

Everything was just bleh. It was like I stepped back in time to the 1950’s and sat down inside a soup kitchen for the homeless. Literally everything tasted like it came straight from a can, from the meat and sides to the dessert and even the glass of water. Yes I said the water tasted like it came out of a can. No flavor on anything except salt and that was ONLY on the fried chicken. You could get a better experience by just dumping canned food on a plate and heating it to just above room temp at home. Really not sure what the other reviews were experiencing but it’s just edible, that’s it. Unless feeling adventurous, I’d stay away.

Best country buffet in I85 in NC. You cant beat the selection, quality amd value. If you looking for a bite to eat and travelling on I85 around Archdale/Greensboro, stop in and grab a bite to eat. You wont regret it.
