The food was great!!! Our waitress Carrie was Awesome!!! However… One little thing I noticed. This young lady with very long hair that worked in the kitchen area came out where the buffet was located talking to a coworker and decides to pull her long hair all up in twisted bun. She was standing inches from the covered dishes at the buffet. . Other wise we enjoyed the evening.

My only complaint is don’t try to call anyone at the lodge. I don’t care what line you call. These people DONT answer a phone. I tried for over 2 months and finally got an answer in the dining room. We needed reservations for a large group of people. So stressful to accomplish just a reservation!!

I had dinner here and lunch here. It was way overpriced. The waitress was fantastic. The food made me sick before I could leave the restaurant. The cashier was very tactless about me getting sick. The next day, I had lunch here, because there was nowhere else to eat and I was with a group. The lunch also made me sick. Some others in my group told me that they had gotten sick as well. Better to grab a snack from the gift shop than eat at Pinecrest.

I’d been craving seafood and was so pleased with the catfish platter! There were so many onion rings (which were gloriously crispy) that I had to have my husband help me eat them! The waiter made sure to help us find something safe for our 2-year-old who has severe allergies. And she seemed to really enjoy what she had. The meal was more than reasonably priced, especially considering the wonderful view from our table and right outside the restaurant doors after we ate!

Service was great! As for the buffet. I didn’t really like the food they had. My husband got the buffet. He said it sure not like it use to be with the crab legs. But they did keep the same price!

Stay away from the dining room at the state park lodge. The food here is horrible. My wife and 2 boys ate some kind of cake for dessert and started throwing up before we could leave. My daughter and I did not eat the cake, but our stomachs were upset all night.

We had such a wonderful Mother’s Day brunch at the Lodge today! The food was great, lines were short and the service was exemplary! We saw multiple servers going above and beyond to make sure their diners had the best experience! We will absolutely be back!

Great food and beautiful view! Get seated by the window if you can. They don’t offer a giant selection of food but what they do have is lovely. We went on a Friday evening and it wasn’t incredibly crowded but there was a wedding rehearsal going on outside.
