You won’t leave hungry! The biscuit sandwiches are stacked a mile high. The sweet and savory Mcisely is perfectly fried chicken with pickles, brown mustard and honey. Heavenly if you’re fried chicken fan (and highly recommended). The Club is also an excellent choice with fried chicken or brisket (or both as a special request), bacon and ranch. The Cesar salad was good.

Nice and attentive staff for a bus-your-own-table restaurant.

Couldn’t give this more than 5 stars but if I could, I would! Everything here is fantastic! My boyfriend got the McIsley and I got the veggie Reggie deluxe. We also got some coffee and a peach cobbler pop tart. Wow so good, it makes you sad to eat the last bite. Great veggie biscuits and gravy! Their shiitake mushroom gravy is SO good. One of the best I’ve ever had.

Been in Portland for 13 years and moving soon. Had to come to Pine State Biscuits one last time because this is my favorite place to eat in all of Portland and we have some damn good food in this city!

I feel like I’m saying nothing new here but this place was delicious. I’m not sure what drop coffee they had when I went last week but man that stuff was so good.

Another Portland landmark and must experience… Everything was worth the wait! The biscuits, fried chicken, and everything made in house, paired with the whiskey coffee, warmed my heart and lifted my soul. The fried Mac and cheese and hush puppies were like no other.

One of my favorite spots for southern food in Portland. The biscuits were so fluffy and buttery I could just order those without anything else. The chicken pot pie was my next favorite as it had the same kind of buttery flaking pie shell. The chicken fried steak was a little heavy and too oily for me. The chicken tasted a bit to mushed compared to other fried steaks I’ve had. Next time I would get a the chicken pot pie or a biscuit sandwich. Just anything with a biscuit!!

Pine State Biscuits was a fun place to eat. The enclosed out door seating was cool for this time of year. The service was very good and friendly and the food is very good and well made, ” more phycologicaly and emotionally healthy the healthy healthy LOL”. we all need that as well and that is a good thing. Food is meant to nourish your soul as well as you body. Remember to always be happy be mindful and always Away be the best you.

lol been wanting to post about this for awhile. listen, i’m a food service slave myself but cmon i’m disappointed. if the goal of my 15$ biscuit was supposed to be a build-your-own-salad I stand corrected.

Food is always delicious, staff is Portland polite. Bad review is for whatever manager has an AC in their office that pumps the hot exhaust air into the kitchen/dining area. Seriously shame on you, kitchen/restaurant work is hot enough already.
