The food here was pretty good and the prices were quite reasonable. Service was also pretty good. However the place is plastered with corny signs everywhere. Many of these signs were very conservative. If you are not on the conservative side they could be somewhat offensive. I’m sure the owner would say, “If you don’t like it, don’t eat here.” So I won’t. I’m sure s/he’d say, “Great!” But offending half your potential customers can’t be good for business.

A pleasant little restaurant. I only had breakfast there twice, but the service was good and tends to fill fast. Best Mexican omelet I have ever had. A few items I had were a bit under par, but would still recommend this quaint little place.

Food was great. Atmosphere was full of quirky signs and Fourth of July decor. Menu and service a bit confusing. Menu stated skillet comes with toast. Pancakes extra for $1. Server mentioned I could skip the toast in exchange for the pancakes. When the bill came we were still charged the extra for pancakes. Thought the omelette came with hash browns. Ours did not. It wasn’t worth the time it would have taken to argue over the bill, food, etc. maybe take a photo of the menu, if what you order.

If you walk out of this place not feeling like you have a huge, overfull belly go see a doctor because there is something wrong with you! I go here before I hit the lake and I’m good for the rest of the day. Some of the best eats in the northwoods!!! Go! Don’t think about it just go and eat! You see that I am indeed right!

I come to the Pine Cone once a year while I am on vacation. I have been coming for the past 50 years. The main reason is for Chicken Dumplings. The last two times I’ve come, they didn’t have chicken Dumplings. So incredibly disappointing. How can you advertise having the best and being known for it and not serve it?

Let me just start off by saying if you’re looking for a great spot to grab some delicious breakfast food, COME HERE! My boyfriend and I recently took a road trip out to Michigan to do some camping. The first morning we were searching around for a good breakfast spot to grab something to eat before our day and we ended up stumbling across this gem! We loved it so much that first day of our vacation that we actually decided to come here every morning of our trip. They had an amazing menu with a variety of options that were all so delicious! The service was amazing and the waitresses were so friendly and attentive. Being that it was labor day weekend, it did get to be VERY busy – which is understandable for such a great place – the ladies knew what they were doing and handled it smoothly! I hope I’m able to get up to this area again some day and enjoy some more of their delicious food.

I love this place & I come here really often, I mean like 2 times a week. The service with Kyle is amazing, he’s the best. Today I went there & Ordered the same thing I ordered two days ago and the server (who was very kind, could tell he was new so I was being nice) brought out a completely different order and I didn’t get the side i asked for. I informed him on what i meant pointed it out on the menu and he brought the same thing back, and my man didn’t get the correct side he asked for either so we asked him if we could get just something else. The “Manager” Comes out basically right in our faces talking very loudly. Telling us we have to pay for it even though we didn’t touch it. We paid for it, left it there & as unfortunate as it is definitely won’t be coming back if SHES the manager, needs some training or to retire idk.

My daughter and her boyfriend were treated very wrong today by this place!!!! They ordered breakfast burritos and were brought taco meat TWICE, after sending it back TWICE the manager came out and yelled at them demanding that they pay for their order even tho it’s not what they ordered nor did they eat it threatened them so they paid for the food and left it sitting on the table disgusting place don’t eat there!!!
