This food is incredible! I got the tropical combo with chicken, rice, black beans, and plantains. The chicken just melted in my mouth & after the first bite I was like whoa lol. The plantain is one of the best things I’ve ever tasted honestly. I would highly recommend. It’s also plated beautifully & is a great portion for the price. Will definitely be back often!

We just visited this restaurant and it exceeded our expectations, the dishes we tried were very good, I had the caribeno and my boyfriend had seco de res. I don’t usually like chicken skin but this time I couldn’t stop eating it! I loved it. I also tried the lucuma drink and it was flavorful and interesting. The service is superb, the owners were there and made us feel welcome into their restaurant. We will definitely come back soon.

Grabbed the Creole for lunch. I had been hearing from coworkers how good this place is. The aroma was so good I dug in before I took a picture. Chicken was super tender and seasoned. The rice had a nice flavor like a dirty rice but different. Plantains cooked soft and sweet. A Couple little sauces were fresh and tasty. Definitely will be back with more friends. Didn’t stay to eat there but loved the music on this hot and steamy day sure made it feel like i was in Peru.

Awesome experience. Food was fresh and tasty! Provided you stay away from their yummy fries you can eat quite healthily. The half chicken and black beans were flavorful without being over salted. Staff was friendly and attentive. New favorite in Madison.

Good food but unfortunately they missed part of my to go order. Ordered the chicken with fries and sweet plantains. The chicken was good and there were way more fries than I was expecting that ended up going in it’s own full container

Tried Pikkito for dinner tonight after reading about it in the Cap Times. We were greeted with kindness and enjoyed the simplicity of the menu. We ordered the whole roast chicken, plantains, black beans, cilantro rice, french fries, and tres leches cake. Service was fast and food was fantastic. Especially the cilantro sauce, which the owner brought more of when he heard we loved it. Chicken was perfectly cooked, sides were generous and well seasoned. They were very kind and we can’t wait to go back!

Wonderful food. The flavors were out of this world, the food was fresh, and pretty inexpensive. I can’t wait to have it again. We had a carry-out order and this did not impact the quality of the experience. Highly recommend.
