I can’t say enough nice things about this place. I was super early for a 7am flight that was delayed until 830am. I took my time sauntering through the airport, stopping to look at stores and people watching. I finally made it to the gate, and I saw Pigstar! This place was located directly across from my gate, and a good breakfast sounded good.

About what you’d expect from a spot like this. The wings were good, not sure I’m crazy about pork rinds, but that’s probably my fault for ordering them. Decent spot for a bbq bite at the airport.

I had an early flight. Pigstar restaurant was close to my gate, with a smaller line than most of the fastfood restaurants. I decided to go with the smoked turkey hash. Wow. What a meal. The hash came wrapped in an omelette sitting on a plate full of home fries and toast. More than enough for me. It was hot, it came out very fast, and it was delicious. Anybody reading this needs to give this place a try. They won’t be disappointed. The next time I’m in Nashville, I hope my gate is next to this place just so I can have breakfast there.

They cheaped out on me. $15 for a turkey sandwich that had only the bun and the slice of turkey. That’s it. Tiny scoop of potato salad. Tiny scoop of baked beans. Not worth my time going back. Also no discount for airport employees. What kinda airport establishment has no discount for airport employees.

Needed a quick breakfast between flights. Went with the biscuits and gravy. It was supposed to be “smoked sausage gravy” but all I got was peppered gravy. Not the slightest bit of sausage. Thankfully the cashier warned me that food wasn’t seasoned and directed me to the salt/pepper, otherwise this would be a 1 star. Unless you cant get food elsewhere, I recommend steering clear, but who knows….maybe the lunch items are better.

I’m a flight attendant. Between my fight I popped in to Pig Star to grab a quick bite. Service was meh and food was poor. I ordered the smoked Turkey sandwich and fries. Couldn’t even taste the “smoke.” The turkey was just substance and had no real bbq flavor. The fries were luke warm at best. I had to board my flight and ended up just throwing most of it away. For $17 and some change, I was sorely disappointed and left still hungry.

Ordered the BBQ nachos online. Walked to the line after said wait time, employee calls out an order name to the dining area. I wasn’t in the dining area. When I walked to the counter to ask the name that was said, he asks, “What do you need?”. I replied, “For you to repeat the name that you just said”. He asks again, “What do you need”. I replied, “For you to repeat the name that you just said”. Once he FINALLY repeated the name, I told him the order was mine. He handed it to me and said, “That’s all you had to say”. I replied, “All you had to say was the name that you just said!”. After all of that, he still didn’t give me my drink that came with the order and that I already paid for. Luckily, there was a much nicer employee that assisted with the drink issue. The food was okay. About a 6 out of 10. Needless to say, I won’t be back.

Tried to order a drink here and the bartender ignored me while counting money for the register. I patiently waited for him to finish but he didn’t acknowledge me or anything, just looked down. I was the only one at the bar and they were indeed open. Rude and embarrassing.
