Service: The young male working the counter seemed condescending, but maybe that was just his personality. Never asked us how the meal was or if we wanted a water refill. Of course he didn’t, this place is pay when you order (you have to order at the counter) so he got his tip without actually giving us any service.

Elizabeth was great! She went out of her way to be certain our requests were accommodated and made a special effort to help us. Food was very good but service made the world of difference. We have been here a few times this week and loved the food, hospitality, atmosphere and beverages. Desserts are outstanding too. Elizabeth gets a 10 out of 5! Excellent!

Another great barbecue place in small town Iowa. The sandwiches were delicious, dessert was delicious. Definitely worth a stop if your in the area. And try the raspberry barbecue sauce – mmm mmm good.

THE LOADED FRIES ARE AMAZING. The sauces are all so tasty, especially the blueberry one. The meat itself is okay. To be fair, being spoiled by Texas BBQ, few places do well in comparison. Drinks were cheap and cold. Service was good. Would definitely come back!

Love this place! We went for dinner and the food was absolutely delicious. The prices were very reasonable, and the waitress, Elizabeth, was very helpful in picking something out to order and very friendly. We will definitely be going back and recommending to our friends!

Ate here, as restaurant we had planned on going to was closed. Couldn’t have been more pleased with this restaurant. Great food, service, drinks! Atmosphere was fabulous! Will definitely go back! Dessert for first course next time! Yummy!

I didn’t realize this place has been here for years and I wish I had known about it sooner. It came highly recommended by one of my co-workers. Love the environment.The food was delicious, especially the Gouda mac and cheese. The dessert selection was also great. The negative I had was that the wait time for the food was quite long. Maybe they had a lot of takeout orders. They also were not able to adjust any of the menu items to include different things. almost had to order two different dinners to get what we wanted. But I would definitely recommend and I would definitely go again.

We travel down to Osage for work and always swing through. Might be the best in the Midwest. Would definitely eat there again. Barbecue sauces are amazing and the cheese cake is to die for. They kinda got weird hours though so called ahead.
