You need to let the meat speak for itself. I ordered the ribs . They were so meaty and pulled perfectly from the bone. HOWEVER, the rub was so gritty that i had to scrape it off. I bit into an absolute clump of spice. I had to wipe out of my mouth. The rub didn’t set enough to liquefy or they were severely heavy handed applying it. Brisket was decent, just a smidge dry. The mashed potatoes, baked beans and tater tot sides were very tasty. We also ordered a drunken pretzel-which was just okay- the cheese was very bland. Drink prices were a bit steep for the size glass. Our waitress was very pleasant and the staff was nice. Very nice. Thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor dining. Perfect atmosphere, loved the old house turned restaurant.

The atmosphere is really warm and inviting. We sat outside and it was really nice. I had spiked peach tea, and it was tasty. The BBQ had a lot of adobo and cumin flavoring. We got the pulled chicken and High on the Hog (which is pulled rib poutine). Both were pretty good. For the sides, we tried the baked beans, potato salad, and mac and cheese. I really liked the potato salad. The mac and cheese would have been amazing, but it was very thin and runny. Overall, we had a good experience and our waiter was friendly and quick.

Five stars for sure! The food was excellent, beginning with the poutine appetizer , right through to the delicious peaches and cream dessert. We were eager to try everything on the menu, so we opted to share the swine platter. We chose the pulled pork, pulled chicken, beef brisket, sour cream and onion tots, and at the suggestion from our server, Dayne, the potato salad. More than enough food for the two of us. We sat on the patio and enjoyed a drink from the excellent bar menu. Local beers and spirits are always a plus. The service provided by Dayne, was great! We didn’t feel rushed and his suggestions for food and beverage were on point. We can’t wait to go back. Side note: google is asking for a price rage per person. Keep in mind that we had an appetizer, alcohol, and dessert. In my opinion, the prices are very reasonable.

The barbecue restaurant I visited was a delicious and satisfying experience. From the moment I walked in, the smoky aroma of slow-cooked meat filled the air, and I knew I was in for a treat. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with rustic decor and friendly staff.

Fantastic food. We had the brisket, grean beans and mac/cheese. Brisket was juicy, beans with bacon were out of this world. Mac/cheese was a little bland…maybe some pepper. 3 choices of sauce, all of which are tasty. Wish I lived close so I could go back. We sat outside and enjoyed the view, music and fresh air.

First time eating here, wont be the last. Ribs and brisket were great. The most interesting coleslaw that I have ever had. Peaches and cream dessert may be the best thing I have ever eaten. Great beer selection. Staff were very curteous and helpful with questions regarding the menu and recommendations.

Got the Texas style baby back ribs, half rack! Absolutely delicious and tangy! Fall off the bone. Got a side of the Gouda Mac and Cheese. It too was delicious! The meat was smoked to perfection and the sauce was unique. Not too sweet not too tangy. Not hot spicy at all. Acacia was my server. She was very friendly, professional and had a very engaging personality! She was a worker and appeared to really love her job. She’d be an asset no matter where she worked! Loved the atmosphere as I dined outside. Nice location on a hill. Overall an A+ on the entire experience!

This is a run down old house that has changed hands several times and with different themes. We did take out and they add a grituity to every take order. one guy ordered a burger and I said no pink, she repeated back to me well done I said yes. the burger is very pink and not cooked. Website menu is not up to date. One guy ordered Cajun andouille grinder and got a jalepeno chedder grinder. She never said that was discontinued and replaced it with something else. Another guy got the dynmite shrimp and pulled chicken sandwich for a whopping $33.75 including their mandatory tip and he said his was aweful. This is not worth it. Customers were waiting to be seated and waited a while behind me. The person helping me had to yell back and try and get someone to seat them. All the while the person in the back was yelling ” what do you need”

Our first visit. Came for the bourbon selection as a recommendation from a friend. We were blown away by service. Great beer and bourbon selection. We had Blantons on the rocks with a cute pig shaped ice cube and a few craft beers. BBQ was top notch—we enjoyed the sampler platter to share.

The plus side: The setting was great. The outdoor dining is very nice. Happy hour drinks were a bonus, also very good and reasonably priced. Pig and Chip appetizer was the best thing we ordered. The wait staff is excellent. The negatives: The food was mostly overcooked. The baked beans, mac and cheese, and tots were tasty, even though the tots were very dark/well done. the chicken sandwich ordered was almost burnt, the brisket sandwich was better, but the bun was DRY, almost stale tasting. Disappointing to say the least.
