This place was better than expected. We didn’t get the seafood boil this time but instead we got the fish n chips and clam chowder. Clam chowder was good, personally I don’t like too many potatoes nor large chunks either but the flavor was there. The fish n chips were amazing, batter was good and the fish itself had good texture. I’d come back!

Not what I was expecting. Drive by this for a good part of a year, waiting for it to open. We finally were able to try this place on a Sunday. Spacious and clean, staff was accommodating, hospitable, and attentive. The food on the other hand, was just underwhelming. Most of the menu is fried, if it’s not the boil combo dishes. Most in our group said it was just ok, there are other places where they can go and get more flavorful seafood boils. I had the shrimp po boy, which was ok, not “WOW-ed” by it or “gotta have it again” appeal. The shrimp was kinda soggy, but I was expecting to be good, but it was just meh. Might try this place sometime again in the future.

Prices may be high, but the food does not disappoint. The crab boil contained plenty of sausage, a single potato, shrimp, half a crab, and a half cob of corn. Even at mild for spiciness, it was a little hot, and there were 3 levels beyond that for choosing and a “non-spicy” level below it. Parking does not seem plentiful at first, but you can freely park in the garage under the apartment building, so that helps. It wasn’t busy when we went for a weekday lunch, so there was plenty of seating open. The interior is light and airy, with very high ceilings and an interesting decor. A separate bar exists with televisions as you enter for those seeking only drinks. If you get the boil, I guarantee you’ll be walking out with leftovers.

Gilbert did an amazing job with our table. We had a table of 4 people and he checked on us every chance he had. He was also super funny and had a great personality. It was our first time here. He was super helpful and nice. He helped us decide what to order and gave us popular recommendations. He also helped us box our food and made sure we were doing well all throughout our meal. On top of that, the food was amazing. Definitely one of the best tasting seafood boil places we’ve been to. Inside the restaurant is clean and decorated nicely. We highly recommend this place!

It was a great expirience! Food was really good, we got the pier 88 combo wich was enough for 2 people, the server was nice and helpful, I also like the decoration. We will come back for sure!

Most definitely the best seafood boil around. I think it’s even better than the Crab Pot since I haven’t been there in over ten years. I’ve traveled to Louisiana and didn’t find any boils there worthy. I’m very happy that I live close by. Now I don’t have to make my own boils lol I hate cleaning up.

We stopped in last min, closer to closing- friendly staff- music was entirely too loud, however we adjusted and enjoyed ourselves. Ordered the king crab leg seafood boil- it is a ample size and 2 of us couldn’t get past the king crab legs- we ordered the garlic butter and it was delicious. It was our first time doing a restaurant style seafood boil so the served cracked the bag and we cracked jokes with him.

Incredible. The service was great, the food was really good and came out fast. The 88 special sauce was good. I enjoyed it here and don’t understand the complaints. The restaurant is really nice and this is NOT expensive. That’s like calling a nice steak restaurant expensive – makes no sense. Seafood costs and it’s good and worth what’s being charged. The prices are very fair.

It is newly opened, so I decided to give a try. Honestly the decoration and atmosphere are great. The front desk is very friendly. However, the food is just not it. The sweet potato fries are great, but all the seafood taste very wrong. You can tell they are cheap frozen seafoods that you get from low end markets. The garlic butter didnt use fresh chopped garlic. The Cajun sauce was not the real Cajun taste, too salty, barely spiced. I went to so many cajun restaurents in my life, and this is not comparable. The menu pricing was confusing. For the oyster, It wrotes 6 for 12 dollar, then they charge me $3 each. I did confront the manager regarding the confusion. She did refund us the price different partially (paid $18, refunded $14). Which was appreciated. Hopefully they fixed menu by now. The crawfish are on the do not order list(unfresh), everything else are okay.
