For a sports bar the atmosphere was pleasant, the food portions were great & I have to say that my waitress was attentive & very friendly. Giving a Shout Out to this young lady. Safe travels on your many adventures.

Pier 88 has a fantastic concept that is not common in the area, so patrons tend to travel longer distances to enjoy the seafood offering. The food is very good and the staff is helpful. One downside is the very high gratuity that is added to the bill automatically.

This was my first time here but definitely not the last. Great food arrived at the table hot , fresh and fast. The only thing better here than the food is the service. Our waitress was over the top helpful with navigating the menu and making great suggestions. The restaurant has a really good vibe. Be sure to check out the fried oysters.

Waitess was great, food was wonderful. Don’t order from the bar. When I was seated I ordered a Corona. Took forever. Literally I was able to order food and have it on my table before I got my first beer. I asked the waitress if she couldn’t just bring me a beer but, apparently the bartender gets angry if a waitress fills a simple drink order. So long story short, they can bring you a whole platter of cooked seafood before they can give you 1 beer due to a micromanaging bartender with megalomania!

We went for the first time and had a great experience. We will definitely be back. Our waitress was friendly and did a great job. We were greeted right away and our drinks never got empty. Our food came out quickly and was fresh and delicious. Definitely recommend

Overall, not a bad place to get seafood in a landlocked state. It is the typical “boil” style restaurants that seem to be popping up everywhere in the south these days, not that there is anything wrong with that. It’s in the same building as the old On the Border restaurant and it doesn’t look like they changed the layout much from that eatery. They did apply for a liquor license but as of 9/17/2021, it was still pending approval (hopefully they get it).

First visit and last. Crab legs so small that the cracker wouldn’t touch them. 1/2 pound of crab legs got me about four bites. Corn was obviously not freshly boiled as it was mush and even the cob was swollen and soft. Save your money and go to Red Lobster. At least you can get rolls there. Still confused by the chips and salsa appetizer here.

The seafood boils are sooo flavorful! I highly recommend getting lemon pepper seasoning.. I am stuffed! The waitress was wonderful. She made sure we had everything we needed, kept checking on us to make sure we was good on everything, I love her!! Wish I would have gotten her name. I will be back again.
