Great food, wonderful staff. However, I had to wait entirely too long for spaghetti to go. And they forgot my salad. I called in during the storm, waited 20 min, went to pick up, and waited at least 20 more min bc they also had a large catering type order called in. Half of my order was ready already. Other than that, it’s great every time.

Picnic Pizza has been a dining staple for my family practically my whole life. When I think of comfort food, this is my restaurant. That being said, I haven’t been here in a while (possibly a year or so) and I was happily surprised that the prices hadn’t changed that much. But then I noticed the food portions HAD. The garlic cheesy bread was practically half the size it was previously. The antipasto salad was also significantly smaller, though filling. I understand we’re in a recession and either price goes up or serving sizes go down, so I’m not affronted. I just wasn’t expecting that big of a difference. I will absolutely continue to come here for comfort and familiarity.

I’m confused by all these good reviews. The past three times I have been in have been ridiculous. The food is delicious. The service and the wait are awful. Why do you only have two girls working all the time? They are literally running. I hope they don’t work for just tips. Please pay them a decent hourly wage and tips. That’s crazy how much work these women have to do. I know I can’t see the kitchen but it must not be the same way because the food does come out in a decent amount of time. Hire more front of house staff so you can accommodate your flow of customers.

The fresh baked bread turns a great sandwich into an AMAZING sandwich. Or get the fresh baked bread full of cheese with marinara. The service is always good and super friendly. They really work hard for their customers!
